Hello my dear brothers and sisters, a warm welcome to one and all of you and I greet you in the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am very happy and privileged to be present in these kind of sessions and these short sessions are very very useful is what many people have told us as a feedback. And we are going to continue to release lot of short sessions. The reason is in a short span of time we could cover quickly many topics. Alright, I strongly believe that Allah, Jesus Christ, have taken good care of your health and strength and long life. And even otherwise also don't worry, God is faithful and he is going to deliver you from all your troubles. Today we are going to talk about a very important concept. Every concept in Bible is important. But this concept is very important and it's going to talk about the kingdom of heaven. Kingdom of heaven is all about God's righteousness. When you are going to live with God in eternity, what does he expect of you? What is expected of you will qualify or will make you qualify to enter into the throne room of God. Will enter into the city of God. City of God is being built. John 14, 1, 2, 3 says that Jesus is gone. If that was not the case, I wouldn't go before you and build the mansions for you. Jesus said that, right? And likewise, you will see that the city of God is being mentioned in Revelation 21, Revelation 22. Many, many times you can, if you keep reading it, you will understand the city of God is certain. New heaven and earth will descend, alright? Alright, so before we get into this, I want to remind you of a couple of verses from the word of God. Mark chapter 11, verse 24, if you read, you will understand. Mark 11 24 and Matthew 21 22 talks about when you pray believe that you will receive from God. Now everybody asks this question why I should believe when I pray to God? What makes me to believe when I pray to God? Simple answer is when you pray you should believe that the kingdom of heaven is already at work in you. The kingdom of heaven and its righteousness is what you need to seek after. Therefore, when you start seeking the kingdom of heaven and its righteousness, God has already started to execute his work in you. And that instills confidence. That gives you the assurance that all your supplications are going to be handled by God. Personally, he's going to inquire and he's going to handle your supplications. And that's the power in the word of God. Matthew 6.33 says, Seek the kingdom of the Lord first and his righteousness. The rest all shall be added to you. The reason why we are telling this point here is because the rest all will be added to you means all that you are asking, all that you are petitioning, all that you are placing to God as a supplication will be added to you is what it means. Which means your prayers will never go unanswered. It will be answered. At least you will hear from God a no. Right. If it is not yes, he will say no. Because the reason is my beloved son, my beloved daughter, this is not good for you. Right. He's going to give an explanation of God, you know, basically respects everyone's prayer. He's the God who's called as mighty counselor. At the same time, he's the God who will also respect your prayer and he will address to it, right? He will tell you why he is not approving. He will tell you why he is not, why he is rejecting. At the same time, he's also going to tell you, this is acceptable in my sight. It's a sweet fragrance. The petitions that you have placed in my, on my feet is a sweet fragrance and I'm approving it. And he is going to explain. And he is the God who talks to us. He interacts with us. You all are following it, right? Mark 11, 24, Matthew 20, 21. Sorry, 21, 22. It's about petitioning. When you pray, believe that you will receive. Why you should believe is because when you seek, it's a conditional statement. That's why when you make prayers without following these conditional statements, it's like an empty prayer. It is not music in somebody's ears. It is like noise in the ears of God. and he is not going to approve. Why? Because you have not fulfilled your responsibility. You have not fulfilled your job. One of the conditions is not met. Therefore, God is not going to approve. Honestly, I need to tell you this. Don't be disappointed. Sometimes, you know, you don't get response from God. Why? Because there is something that is spending on your side, not on God's side. God is righteous. He is always holistic in nature. He does everything perfectly And what is spending in you is seeking the kingdom of God and its righteousness Rest all shall be added to you Which means whatever you have petitioned whatever you sought God whatever you have asked God whatever you are expecting from God will be completely met and answered. You don't have to be worried. 100% guaranteed. Right? But that's why I'm slowly coming to the point. Now what does this kingdom of heaven and its righteousness means? Bible also leaves behind a lot of explanation as far as this topic or, you know, this concept is concerned. I want you to turn your Bible to Matthew chapter 13 and verses 44 to 58 is what I'm planning to read. But let's see how much time we have. We will try to cover maximum, right? There are three different narrations or narrative illustrations that Jesus is laying right in front of us. Therefore, you and I can understand it very clearly, right? First narration he is giving from the book of Matthew, chapter 13 and verse 44. He says, the parable of the hidden treasure. He says, again, the kingdom of heaven is like the treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid, right? and for joy over it, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. You understand what it means? A person finds out there is treasure in a certain field and the guy goes and sells all his property and he invests in that place because he knows it is not just a field, but there is something beneath the field or hidden inside the field that is going to make him trillion times richer than what he is, which the original owner did not know. The guy who is owning the field, they have not understood that this is the beauty, this is the treasure that is hidden there. And that's why this guy sells all his property. Why? Because he finds a hidden treasure. Now, what did you understand from spiritual perspective? That treasure is nothing but this word of God. Correct? And the field, in the previous parable in the same chapter, Matthew 13, you will see parable of the sower, where Jesus is explaining clearly about the seeds. Everyone knew this. That's why I'm skipping that parable, right? Some fell on the rocky ground. Some fell on the thorny. Some fell on the parched ground. Some fell on good ground. And he gives explanations and reasons as why the thorny ground, worries of the world, will choke the person. And the rocky ground, he didn't have root. He will hear, yes, yes, yes, hallelujah, amen. And they will be clapping hands. But then they go, they will be distracted with the pleasures of the world. And there also the seed will not grow. But where who has a good heart, good land is nothing but good heart. Which means what? You are focused on what will take you towards eternity. Because that is the treasure. The word of God is treasure. Right? The person who abides in this laws and commandments of God is the one who will be blessed. He is the one who will land up in eternity. Right? While we are living our life in this world, many people focus only on the current world, the current life, which is important. I am not saying you shouldn't be focused. right you should be focusing on your assets you should be focusing on your bank balances materialistic needs you need to clear up the electrical bills you need to pay up your children's school fees you need to take care of emis this and that no problem right and you need to leave behind inheritance as a blessing to your children and that's very important very important do not leave behind debt it is a curse it's a curse on you and so curse on your children perhaps you won't get a place in heaven perhaps you will be landing in the place of torment because you are definitely not a blessing to others. You are a burden to others. In the name of Jesus, you can't be a burden or a curse to others. You have to be a blessing, right? That means you have not followed the word of God in the way you should have followed. Because Bible says in Revelation 20 to 14, blessed are those who, you know, practice the laws and commandments adhere in the laws and commandments, right? So, you will be everything you do, you will be prosperous. Those that are grounded and rooted in the word of God meditating in the word of God day and night. Psalm chapter 1 verses 1 to 3 says that, right? Then how you can be a curse? How you can leave behind curse? Therefore, it's important. I'm not disagreeing. I'm a believer of materialistic prosperity too. But that's only limited to your lifespan. That's only limited to your children's lifespan. You all have to say goodbye to this world, whether you like it or not. You have to say goodbye to this world. All of us have an expiry date. This is a product created by God. right this beauty this charm this glove this what is it this teen you are your teenager someday will grow old and someday are you a mid person sister or brother Someday you know your skin all will shrink up and all that Right And someday you will be buried All of us will be buried Right When you say goodbye you close your eyes here and open your eyes What do you see You see the place of torment That why we did a session on rich man and Lazarus Right The rich man was thinking, oh, as I am rich here, I will also be rich there. That's what he was thinking. But sorry, that was not the good news for him. After he closed his eyes, Abraham says you enjoyed all the riches and pleasures and you didn't have heart to even give that little food to that beggar and he is in the paradise. Right? And that is what you need to keep checking on your walk with God, your spiritual journey, where it will take you towards. I mean, where you are heading towards, your journey, your pathway, after your life is finished on earth, where it is heading towards. That is where you need to invest. That's where the treasure is. Right? Your pressure takes up there. Now, how do I invest? What are the mannerisms? What is the method to invest? That is where the fruit of the spirit is going to be. Very helpful. Galatians 5 22 23 you got to be a loving person I mean full of love you got to be a joyful person you got to be man of patience tolerance long-suffering gentle kind forgiving if you're kind and gentle you will forgive people many people ask in the nine flavors of the fruit of the spirit forgiving thing is not there if you are gentle and kind and patient and tolerant naturally we forgive people you don't have to go to any university and get graduated separately how to forgive no it's natural inbuilt right so when you buy a car it's not that you know engine is separately sold it's all packaged within it right four tires engine everything you will get that's car correct no it's not only the body somebody will have to push the car and go right make you sit inside it's a toy car probably now we are not talking about toy car this person invests in that land why because there is something beneath that land there is something hidden in that land similarly when you and I make the choice to walk in righteousness to walk blameless before God to live holy before God and say goodbye to all the filthy deeds unholy deeds unrighteous deeds and make the decision to say goodbye to the sins of the past and always live holy before God walk in conscience walk in spirit and being led by the spirit you know what you are already looking at the life that is beneath, that is life after eternity. Sorry, life after death is eternity. Correct? I will read, I will read. Are you all with me so far? I don't mean to say, see, there are certain people who preach like this. Anyway, your eternity is there, you have to say goodbye to earth. Then why, brother, all this taking up of inheritance and property, this and that. Sell everything, enjoy your life and then enjoy your life and what? Go to hell. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Leave behind inheritances. Live a prosperous life. But be a blessing to others. See brother. If you don't earn well. If you don't earn beyond what you want. How is that you are able to bless others? We are supposed to bless others. Right? That's why God gave you good job. God gave you good family. God gave you good health. Good wealth. Therefore you could go. And bless the people who are bedridden. Correct? No. Their families are bedridden. Now if you are going to ask me. Why they are sick? Why they are bedridden? That's between them and God. That's not my business. That's not your business. but you and I have a business to take care of those that are poor, downtrodden, needy and for which you need to earn. And that's why God gave you good opportunity. Okay, I answered that also. Verse number, see the parable of the pearl of the great price. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls who when he had found one pearl of great price went and sold all that he had and bought it. Same example. Merchant found one beautiful pearl, pure one, original one. He went and sold all his thing and he bought that pearl. That is like bringing that righteousness of God. Your character changes. Your attitude changes. Your thought process changes. For what you had been running actually changes. Some people know money after money. Property after property. Car after car. Three years they want to replace that car. What? from point A to point B any car takes you so why are you changing cars and wasting money and it's a depreciating asset right instead of changing cars you invested money somewhere and take the interest and give it to the poor think and see right and anyway the last one I will read and I will close with that the parable of the dragnet again the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind which it was full When they drove to the shore, they found, drawn and gathered the goods into the vessels and threw the bad away. So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just and cast them into the furnace of fire and there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Jesus said to them, have you understood all these things? Jesus said to him, yes, Lord. Sorry, and they said to him, yes, Lord. Then he said to them, therefore, every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old. You all understand this or not? I'm not sure, but I will just explain it quickly. See, all of us are running this race with an assumption that I'm doing good, that I'm all good. I'm talking about believers. Christian congregation, right? Every one of them, they have their own emphasis. Mainline churches, traditional churches, Pentecost churches, spiritual churches, charismatics, Seventh Adventist, Baptist, all of them, they have their emphasis. But then, not all of them will make their way into heaven. And even within every church, not all the members will make their way into heaven. That's why it doesn't matter which church you belong. It doesn't matter which pastor is preaching to you. It doesn't matter how many years have gone past since you took water baptism. It doesn't matter how long you had been a Christian. It doesn't matter whether you were born and brought up in Christian family or you were recently converted. It doesn't matter. What matters is the kind of life that you have lived. And on the day, you are going to say goodbye. How you are going to be judged? Matthew 12.36, Ecclesiastes 3.15 tells that you are going to be judged according to your deeds. And every idle word that proceeds out of your mouth, which means every action, every reaction, every decision, every thought, lustful thought. or unholy thought. Holy thought or unholy thought. Filthy deeds or very good deeds. Are you busy bodies running around and wasting time or are you very useful for God that he uses you and you are giving your time to God. All these things will be consolidated and you will be judged based on that. A person who always wants to be there in the kingdom of heaven, a person who wants to always inherit the kingdom of heaven and its righteousness will take an account of all these parameters is which I have told you just now. Because why? He will invest which will give him the returns. He will invest which is worthy for investment. He will invest in such a thing which is precious in his eyes. What is precious in our eyes? The days that we live on earth or the days that are ahead of us. Maybe a trillion years you are going to live with God. Are you more concerned about the 70-80 years that you are going to live here? Because according to Psalm 90, it's 70 or 80 years. May God bless you. Live 100 years also. Are you worried about this 100 years? Or are you worried about the trillion years? Trillion you know, right? How many zeros? You will add some 8 or 9 zeros after 100. You are worried about those zeros? Or you are worried about your 100 years? You are worried about that, right? How long you will be, you know, thinking of these worldly things. That's what Jesus is telling. Therefore, invest your time in God's kingdom and its righteousness. By saying that I don't mean to say mean to say that you should resign from your responsibilities as far as your earthly duties are concerned. Earthly duties are important. You are a parent, you have certain duties. You are a husband, you have certain duties. You are a wife, you have certain duties. You are a child, you have certain duties. Yeah, you are a father-in-law, you have certain duties. You are a parent, mother-in-law, you have certain duties. Sister-in-law, every relationship, they have some or other duties. You have to fulfill those duties. You have to run for it. But more than that, you need to focus on what is ahead of you and keep investing. Keep investing in that direction. Therefore, you will not lose your life. Like Bible says, endure the temptations. Therefore, you will not lose the crown of life. Keep enduring the temptation and run in the right direction which leads you. The narrow path which leads you towards the kingdom of heaven. James 1.12 says that. God bless you. I hope this session was a useful one. Very short session. If I were to speak, I am going to preach a long series about kingdom of heaven. Maybe several hours of teaching. I don't have time. I will do that sometime. But this is the condensed version just to give you a sneak peek. What is this kingdom of heaven and its righteousness all about? We started with Mark 11, 24 and then we ended up with Matthew 13. We also spoke about Matthew 6, 33. Seek the kingdom of Lord first and his righteousness. Rest all shall be added to you.
