praise the lord my dear brothers and sisters a warm welcome to one and all of you and i greet you in the name of the lord and savior jesus christ very happy and privileged as always that god enabled such beautiful sessions and these are truly the last times um where we need to be really really thinking of who we are right and we need to always walk in that realization and the more you realize it helps you to get closer to god it helps you to um you know endure the temptation and therefore you will understand that the crown of life right this is definitely in your hands and the devil can never be successful against you but it all depends how much you are grounded and rooted in this word right all right a warm welcome to this short series or short sessions where we are dealing through many many subjects these days and many people have come in appreciation that you're doing a tremendous job and all that i'm telling you all the glory belongs to god and may my boast be in the lord and nothing is of me it is of of my lord and savior jesus and the more you understand this the better it is for you and it keeps you humble and simple i'm talking to myself and also to you so this is applicable to both of us okay so here we are dealing through a subject from the book of deuteronomy 28 deuteronomy 28 means immediately one verse will come to everyone's mind deuteronomy 28 13 you know what it is i'll be the head and not the tail i'll read it for you and the lord god make you the head and not the tail and you shall be above only and be ben and not be beneath if you second half nobody will read and even in the verses hanging on your door or door plate or cardboard or wherever you are hanging in the walls right the second half nobody will engrave it they will take it for granted you know what is that these all will happen only if you heed the commandments of the lord your god which i commanded you today and are very careful to observe them i want you to really taken account of this, taken note of this. It's like a conditional statement, right? The more you abide in the laws and commandments of God, that's when the voice of God will, I mean, your voice reaches to God and God's response comes back to you in the form of his promises being fulfilled in your life. Else what happens is your petitions will be only rotating in your room. It will not even cross the roof and your the promises whichever you are claiming will not be applicable why because you have not followed the commandments of god all right so recently we have kicked off a series um you know the law of obedience versus law of disobedience and we are doing a spectacular job there i mean the holy spirit especially um we have done it just kicked off right it's all available in our playlist and i really want you to take advantage of such sessions and therefore you you learn the scriptures you walk in the realm of being an obedient child of god oh there is nothing like that right so please take advantage of these sessions now today many people might be thinking oh i will be talking something about the blessings and all that blessings you know already as i told you you all have all the boards you know hanging around your um house you go and see show me one word of alert, one word of instruction, one word of curse. Yeah, I'm saying you don't have to hang such boards, right? Because it will be really not good, pleasing to your eyes. But then never forget, your life will become a curse, right? If you don't pay attention to the commandments of God. Now, let us spend little time. What is this commandment of God? Commandment of God is nothing but is giving you the choice hey you do this i will do this for you and it is only for your good i told you this is like a conditional statement right for example seek the kingdom of lord first and his righteousness it's not a law it's up to you you want to seek the kingdom of lord first and his righteousness the rest all shall be added to you what is this rest all seeking the kingdom of god and his righteousness will make you spiritually prosperous you will be spiritually a very, very prosperous person. You'll be spiritually very strong. Everything you do in your life, you will make the right decisions from the word of God. The rest all will be added to you. He will ensure that your bank balance is taken care, your job is taken care, your health is taken care, your sicknesses are healed, your children are obedient, your wife will be a very good wife, your husband will be a very loving husband. There will be no quarrels, there will be no brawls, there will be no struggles, there will be no hardships. I'm telling you, There will be when I say no hardship, no struggle means it's don't take in literal tense, right? Struggles and hardship will come, but then God will teach you how to overcome. That exactly my point God will teach you how to overcome these struggles in life And that is what does mean all Now you notice right Two statements merged in one verse right But both are like conditional First is your job Second is God job that is called as following the commandments of god which means you are paying attention to the voice of god very closely you are a person who will always walk according to the instructions written in the bible and you don't have to go and read references books study bible this and that right you don't have to everything is very clearly mentioned in this holy word of god it's very plain it's very straight you don't have to really really spend energy and do this phds and this and that nothing is required it's very plain like i gave you one example right and there are these are commandments law do not steal do not murder right love your neighbor as yourself actually that is not a commandment that is a law love the lord god all uh love the lord your god with all your heart with all your heart mind and soul come it's not a commandment it's a law matthew 22 37 and 39 right you need if you're not following this commandment by making the right choices if you don't follow the law because there is no choice in law you have to follow right then who are you you are a violator you're an offender you're insulting the blood covenant you are definitely making a choice that you don't want to be with god you never want to stay in the presence of god because why that's not your interest that's not the best of your interest that's not the choice you want to make in your life right because it's like secondary for me because why the pressures of the world the pleasures of the world the pressures of the world both have kept you tightly occupied i mean both have kept you occupied with lots of worries and lots of fear and lots of this and that therefore you don't have time to even learn the word of god focus on the word of god and very sad situation for many believers is what i would say okay now what happens if you're an offender is what people don't read and it's a saying it's available in the same chapter to Deuteronomy 28 and I won't be spending too much time I will see what best to do in the next few minutes what all could happen right now before that let me tell you very important point brother and sister you may how much ever call upon in the name of Jesus in the blood of Jesus oh my sins are cleansed and all that if you're not a follower of this new covenant laws and commandments old covenant laws and commandments then you know what the blood of jesus won't work in your life the name of jesus won't deliver you from your problems which means what you will continue to battle in hardship you will continue to battle and live in curses live in bondage which means what you are going to be judged and justified by the old covenant standard therefore you can no way say ah jesus has come and old covenant is invalid if that was the case god would have decremented 39 books from this book from this bible why still old covenant is there you're going to be judged by the old covenant standards if you have not gone into the new covenant yeah before getting into new covenant first of all you need to accomplish all the old covenant standards you don't have to go and sprinkle blood on the altar by killing a ram not like that because jesus took over that sacrifice on himself you need to understand that right you need to always connect old covenant with new covenant but the laws and commandments which talks about your character your conscience right your behavior yeah do not murder old covenant standard and applicable in new covenant also but then jesus elevated to the next level murder begins in your heart yeah do not lust which means old covenant standard you will be judged when you go and lie down lie in a prostitute's house but here in new covenant the moment you lust about your neighbor's wife you have committed prostitution. Jesus elevated the standards, which means he did not abolish Matthew 5 17. I never came to abolish. I came to fulfill the laws from the book of Moses, old covenant, right? Therefore, if you're not practicing new covenant, which means you will be judged by old covenant. Therefore, whatever I'm going to read now is applicable. Although you might have gone through water baptism, although you might have enrolled for a membership in a Pentecostal church, whatever it may be, these curses are going to cling. My time is running. Let us get into the session. I don't have time to read the entire 28 Deuteronomy 28 from 15 to 68. But I really want you to do this exercise when you have that free time. God will bless you. Right. The first thing I will read Deuteronomy 28 17. Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. What does it mean you will not even have good water to drink you have water problems i not saying it a it a government problem i agree but then wherever you are somehow god will provide you good water to drink right and what is it your basket will be empty how much ever you it not about food and water but i'm telling you how much ever you earn brother you won't be a spendthrift you won't be able to buy anything you will end up paying loans you will end up clearing doctor's bills so much of sickness you will end up paying for someone else's fault right for example you will be driving in your track but some idiot will come and you know bank on your car and uh he will say no you want me to take my two-wheeler you take it i don't care in bangalore it's quite uh common an insurance fellow will say i will cover only 50 percent and the remaining 50 percent you have to pay the bill every month some or other problems will keep coming and it'll be hitting you hard you know what is that called curse and why that curse comes i keep telling this you are not the follower of laws and commandments of god you are an offender you are violating it what is that situation i will be reading only few cursed be shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land um the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks cursed means what fruit of your body that's what i told you right whatever you earn and whatever you try to get home on day number one itself you will become a bankrupt your salary is coming on first of every month you will become bankrupt the same day that's what he's saying and then the lord will send you now i'm sorry i'm reading verse number nine curse shall you be when you come in and cursed you shall be when you go out. It's exactly opposite to Psalm 121 verses 7 to 10 and it's exactly opposite to Deuteronomy 28 initial 1 to sorry and blessed you sorry all that God has mentioned in Deuteronomy 28 1 to 14 it's exactly opposite to it. Through your going out and coming in while you are walking and some serpent will come and bite you or some dogs are very famous in bangalore or many city any place in bangalore in india some dog will come and chase you and it'll bite you or some you know eagle will come and you know poke on your head and go the even the nature will be against you what a sad situation why would you want to go why because you have been handed over to devil why because you love devil more than god that's why you are an offender that's why you love the worldly pleasures more than walking in the sight of god walking in the commandments of god and you understand why even the nature reacts why because the devil is a destroyer he's a murderer you it may all look good initially but then as days progress by you will understand his original color and that was the situation of eve and adam right they thought it's all good you know fruit is good you will become like god moment they ate that's when they found how cunningly he cheated them correct and let's move on i don't have much time the lord will um sorry the lord will send on you cursing confusions and rebuke and all that you set your hand up until you know until you are destroyed until you perish quickly because of the wickedness of your whatever right the god will send confusions. Husband and wife will always be quarreling. Children will never obey. And confusions at workplace, you will be doing some good, but then it will end up to be your bad. Your intentions were right, but then people misinterpret it. And unnecessarily, you will build up a lot of enemies wherever you go. That is the situation of many believers today. You are all thinking, how did you know this, brother? I didn't say anything. It is all in the word of God. If that is your situation, you are in the old covenant curses, brother. And we will talk about how to come out of it. I'm reading only a few verses. If you read from verse 15 all the way to 68, you won't sleep. Because you know the truth, who you are, right? That's why I'm telling you this. Then the Lord will strike you with consumption and with fever, with inflammation, with severe burning fever. And with the sword and this with scorching and with the mildew. So it's talking about sickness. some sicknesses don't depart dental problem ent problem you know migraine problem acidity problem gastritis this and that some or other problem will be there some people know always they will be in doctor's place i'm not saying it's wrong to go to doctor but even if you go there even that fellow will be surprised how many times you will come how many medicines to write even he will be so so disappointed and he will shift his office he will vacate his office and run away doctor's office why because of this fellow no he's always torturing me next time you call up the phone the phone is disconnected and why do you get into such problems is because you are not obedient the lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies your enemies will prosper that not the blessing from god right your enemies the foreigners will come and submit to you because they are afraid of you bible says in psalms 1844 correct and here in deuteronomy also you will see then all the people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the lord and they shall be afraid of you deuteronomy 28 10 says that but here the curse is opposite you will be afraid of the enemies you will be running always for your life what a sad situation why you need to run like that what is easy to follow the laws and commandments of god right see that's why verse number 15 itself begins like this Deuteronomy 28 but if you shall come to but it shall come to pass if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God to observe carefully all his commandments and his statues which I command you today that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you that's the that's the way how God kicks off on this curses of disobedience disobedience itself is a curse right now the lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusions of heart i think this is good enough i don't want to go on and on because i'm to read it only i'm feeling so bad right madness confusion and blindness three things madness you will go mad with people you'll go mad with situations you will get frustrated you will go through so much of disappointment is there no one to save me right is there is there nothing to help me and bring me out and always you will be in double-minded wavery confusions undressed situation you will be filled with worry and fear fear and worry will never depart from such people because why you are in curse right and blindness you will end up doing more stupid things yeah you have not even come out of one stupidity what you have committed another 10 stupid things you would do and then those 10 stupid things will bring 20 different problems is this all real in your life is this all true in your life beloved brother beloved sister listening to me you know what is your problem the problem is number one you have not sought god for help and number two you you have to just ask god help me reveal to me show me where i'm going wrong give me give that light on me yeah bible calls us to walk in light but not before you go and ask god help me to walk and light so try to do that today walk into your personal prayer room and ask god write in a paper i have these 21 problems i don't know from where it came this was not my life this was not my situation two years ago or one year ago or one month ago i don't know from where all this came god there is something wrong in me please be humble please be submissive and that's called as confession that's called as walking into the presence of god and that's technically called as repentance right count all your sins count all your sinful deeds and allow the holy spirit to come and you know get you that light from the word of god from the scriptures he will convince you these are the you know seven or eight things that completely wrong in you the words of your mouth maybe the lust in your eyes maybe your heart is filled with pride maybe the ears you are lending it to all the blasphemers and all the you know false prophets right maybe your fingers you are using to receive bribery all these are the things which god i'm just giving you examples all these are the things which will which the holy spirit will bring to light and he will capture your thoughts completely and he will bring to your remembrance all that you have done is wrong and he will build your conscience and therefore your repentance gets stronger through confessions and therefore you will be able to receive the cleansing touch from through the blood of jesus according to 1 John 1 7 to 10. Right? And Holy Spirit brings to your remembrances all the teachings of Jesus he taught is what John 14 26 says. And the Holy Spirit will be your helper. Beloved, you don't deserve to live like this. And you are not called to live in curse. Of course, it's the old covenant. But then you are not walking according to the new covenant. Therefore, you will be judged by the old covenant. That's the problem. So for you to come out of the old covenant, get into new covenant practices.
