7 Classic Christmas Carols Explained with Biblical Meaning

We'll discuss two Christmas Carol TV episodes: Scrooge Gets an Oscar and Ebenezer Sanford.

These episodes offer unique takes on the classic story, featuring Oscar Madison and Fred Sanford as Scrooge.

We wanted to share two of our favorite TV episodes that are Christmas Carol related. First off, I love the odd couples version. It's called Scrooge Gets an Oscar, in which Oscar Madison is being pushed to play Scrooge in the group's version of A Christmas Carol, but he doesn't want to do it, and then he ends up being visited by the ghosts of Christmas Felix Unger, and he takes him and lets him see all the stuff, his past and his present and future and all that type of stuff. It's unique to see that in the fact that Oscar is seen as a kid. Yes, Oscar is seen as a kid, as tall Oscar dressed up like a kid. And he wanted a pony for Christmas and he said all he got was a rubber duck with a busted hunker It hilarious And Murray the cop is hilarious with playing Tiny Tim God bless us all, everyone. And he keeps rubbing his face on everybody's sleeve. It's like, what in the world? It's crazy. Then the other one is Ebenezer Sanford. It is an episode of Sanford and Son in which Fred Sanford is being Scrooge-like during the Christmas season and takes advantage of a kid who just wants to get some money to buy Christmas presents for his family. And Lamont becomes the ghost of Christmas past, present, and future and shows him what life is like if he just continues this way. Very, very funny and very, very good episodes.
