hello there good morning and good evening and praise the lord to one and all of you greetings to you in the name of the lord and savior jesus christ and i'm very happy as always i'm privileged to meet with you through these sessions and why it is so important to meet like this and discuss from the word of god is only these sessions gives us more light see the more we research from the word of God, you get more light and more light you get. You are moving away from darkness. The more you move away from darkness, you are that person who is walking in wisdom and you walk in wisdom, you walk in truth, you walk in truth, you walk in righteousness, you are righteous and you're truthful, you're holy. See, all these are connected. What is the starting point? Starting point is nothing but meditating from the word of God. And that's exactly the reason why we are really striving hard to get the message as much as possible delivered to the children of God. All right. So we are here meeting with you at another important topic. Yeah, through at another important topic, we are trying to convey something very important. Today, we are going to discuss on the subject the importance of spiritual deeds. In other words, KJV version calls it as the spiritual vitality, right? It's like a vitamin tablet. You can call it as what is the spiritual vitality that you need to swallow each day while you are living your life on earth is what we are going to discuss together. Are you all ready? Let's get into the session. Turn your Bible with me to Hebrews chapter 12. our meditation verses will be from Hebrews 12 verses 12 to 17 is what we are planning to discuss together. But let's see how much we are able to cover in the short span of time. This is a short session. This is not a series. Therefore, we will try our best to cover as much as possible. First of all, what is the spiritual vitality? Why it is so vital? Why it is so significant? why it is to be treated like a i would call it as a spiritual appetite right every day you have to eat at least one meal but if you don't eat you know three meals perhaps if you're on fasting fine god will provide you that energy and obviously you know if you're in the filled in the presence of god god himself will become your appetite and his spirit will lead you don't worry about it 40 days 40 nights jesus was without food and he was still alive no problem right moses 40 days 40 nights he was you know with God and his presence filled him. The presence of God itself is an appetite. Now what is a spiritual appetite? It's nothing but the word of God which travels into our body and it energizes us. It keeps us away from depression. As much as the food that we eat daily and the water that we drink every day is very important for us to stay alive, stay energetic and continue to do our daily duties and responsibilities. The spiritual appetite is also very, very important. That's why it is called as vital. It's very important, significant for you to live your life on planet Earth. Why? Because Christians like you and me, believers in Christ, it's a spiritual warfare. Every single day, the devil is readily waiting to devour us, to fight against us, to cheat us, to deceive us. Therefore, the only appetite which could help us to not fall as a prey in the hands of the devil is this word of God and the prayer. Right. Now, let's see what Hebrew, the author of Hebrew is believed to be as Paul Apostle. But whoever is the author, what what he is trying to convey here is what we are going to read together. I just took two minutes to set the context why this spirituality is very vital. right therefore strengthen the hands which hang down what is this strengthen the hands which hang down and the feeble knees some people know when they tremble their hands will be almost like you know like a dead fish and their knees will be trembling you know it will be shaking against each other. Do not get terrified is what the author. Let's assume Paul is the author of Hebrew. Paul is trying to convey, do not be trembling in fear in the midst of situations, in the midst of sicknesses in the midst of troubles in the midst of every single problem that you had not anticipated Unprecedented events unfortunate events do not tremble Sometimes certain events certain situations in life will shake us Agreed. We are all human beings. But Bible says in the midst of that, where the word of God has your armor, right? Bible talks in Ephesians 6 and verse number 17, 18. The word of God is the armor, right? Armor means it's like a shield, six different weapons. Bible is prescribing shield of faith, gospel of peace, breastplate of righteousness, helmet of salvations. And what is that? Couple of more things, which I forgot. You read Ephesians six verses nine to 17. You will understand using that armor. If you are able to resist the devil, if you are able to overcome the temptation, if you are able to at least endure the temptation for that moment, take some courage, right? The word of God will slowly start to nourish. It will. That's why I told you use the word appetite. Right. When you need that appetite, the spiritual appetite in the midst of situations that are completely against you, when are these situations going to be against me? Always, almost all the time. Right. Some people will always go through some or other problems. I'm talking about the believers, not unbelievers. They are out of context. I'm not talking about people who don't believe in Christ. Right. May God bless them. We are not against them. but may God give them opportunity to repent and come to Jesus. But then I'm talking from the believer's perspective. If you're a believer in Christ, be very sure that every single day you will have some other troubles, unexpected trouble, and you are not the reason for the trouble, right? You didn't, you are not an alcoholic and you didn't go and slap somebody. Well, obviously, you know what will be the result of that. You have not done anything, but the trouble comes and hits you. and you know sicknesses you you have not anticipated some problem in the midst and some tragic incidents some losses right in the family some death happened in the midst of that let your you know have hands not hang down and let your knees not tremble which means do not be terrified do not be horrified or somebody came and intimidated you threatened you tomorrow you come let me see what will happen. Nothing will happen. Don't worry. God would have deployed angels to protect you. So don't worry about the human beings coming in, you know, terrifying you and horrifying you and all that. Don't worry. Or you had a bad dream. The devil is a master in confusing us in the midst of, I mean, through dreams and visions. So be very careful. That's why before you go to bed, always your body, your mind, your heart, your thoughts, everything, surrender it in the hands of God and ask the guardian angels to come to protect you all through the night. That's all. That's all very important. Some dreams are very, very disturbing. I go through that at least once in a week, at least once in a week, sometimes all through the month I'll be taunted through that. So what is happening is in subconscious, you will be thinking of many things. What you would have thought 20 years ago still would continue to taunt you. For example, I get dreams. I've done a short series about dreams and visions it's in the playlist yeah i'm very not good at mathematics at all even today also i get that scary dream as if i'm writing that exam and the instructor is pulling the paper give me give me two minutes or three minutes like that right you you also get through such such dreams in the midst of all this disturbing situations take heart do not be terrified is what he is telling and verse number 13 and i'm talking about from i'm talking from the concept of spiritual vitality why spirituality is important in the midst of troublesome situations how to take heart from spiritual angle from a spiritual standpoint right as a human being we all go through every kind of um you know the trembling fear and all that nothing to talk about that because as a human being you will go through that anyway but how differently you can behave as a spiritual being is what we are discussing now verse number 13 and make straight paths for your feet so that what is lame may not be dislocated but rather be healed right it's all about feet you know when i say feet means from spiritual standpoint your ways yeah your ways in the midst of depression you will not be able to make right decisions So what happens is the situation will mislead you You will be making hasty decisions rash decisions and the words of your mouth may lead you to some problems right Some tensed moments If you are bursting in anger you may get into some trouble Do not be misled through those situations. Exactly at that point of time is when you should seek God for his guidance and always make a note of it. Verse number 14, Pursue peace with all men and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. I would like to spend little time here. Many people, especially believers in Christ, they are masters in condemning others, especially unbelievers from the word of God. That too, you have not believed in Jesus. You will go to hell this and that. And the whole world will be their enemies and adversaries. Please don't get into such arguments. And first of all, that is not right because Bible says, do not count them as your enemy. Second Thessalonians 3 14 to 14 15 right if they don't obey the word of god they are not your enemies they are your brothers but don't mingle with them abstain from every form of evil evil deeds 1 thessalonians 5 23 but they don't count them as your enemy but please pray for them bible says right if you don't pray who will pray if you are not concerned who else will be concerned that's why god had shown such a person or brother or sister in front of your eyes that you need to continue to pray which means you will be at peace in your heart and you will be a peacemaker, right? And some person comes and asks for forgiveness while they've committed wrong against you. You will be peacefully forgiving them because that would be your attitude. That's where you will make a difference. That's when you are called a child of God and that's when you can call yourself as a holy person. You will be unholy until then. You want to know more about forgiving others, being merciful, walking in humility and may your words be seasoned with grace and all that read all these verses Matthew 5 43 to 48 Colossians 4 6 Colossians 3 2 and Ephesians 4 2 and 32 1 John 4 20 Matthew 6 14 and other verses what Philippians 2 3 and 5 all these verses are good enough you will be able to know what it is to forgive others right then only you are called as holy and only then you will see the presence of God. Until then, whose presence are you seeing? Evil spirits presence. The demons are ruling in you and you carry the Bible immediately. You think the Holy Spirit will come? No. It depends. What is your conscience? What is your attitude? What are you the doer of the word? You will be tested thoroughly. Only if you are falling according to this doctrines, the evil spirit will move from, you know, otherwise he will be a big obstruction. he will not allow the holy spirit to come he will be blocking hey no i'm not allowing you okay so make and take a note of the way spiritual vitality you're talking about from the concept of renew your spiritual vitality your spiritual appetite you got to renew romans 12 1 and 2 do not be confirmed to the world but be transformed in your mind and spirit renewed in your mind and spirit. And verse number 15 says this, looking diligently, lest anyone fall short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up causes trouble and by this many become defiled, right? If you don't have that peacemaking, it's not a skill, peacemaking attitude because Jesus walked across the world. Wherever he went, he did good to the people and nine hundred percentage of the people were sinners acts 10 38 right miracle he healed people and all that who you think they'd qualify they deserve no jesus is able to walk peacefully and love people who have sinned and forgive them who are you what happens is if you don't walk according to the doctrine bitterness will develop hatred will develop grudge will develop and you will be murmuring and you will be waiting for a chance to avenge your brother revenge that take revenge on their sister that's demonic attitude that's demonic wisdom according to james chapter 3 13 to 18 if you were to take and read you will understand what i'm saying and no way you will be able to see the presence of god you will not be in the presence of god holy spirit will be never able to dwell in your heart in your body your body is not the temple of god it's a temple of demons you understand den of demons den of lions den of demons right and and and you will be defiled watch out this right these are all against the spiritual deeds and when you get out of this then you're renewing the spiritual vitality lest there be any fornication or profane person like Isha who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. What does it mean is in the midst of the trouble, immediately you compromise, you compromise on your faith levels, you compromise on the trust you have in God, you compromise confidence, you compromise, you know, you will almost say that, you know, God is not watching me. Let me be compromisers. Let me walk as compromiser, which means for the problem to get resolved, you will mingle with the world. You will allow the devil to overtake you. You will know you will no way be able to stand and endure the temptation. You will be falling as a prey in the hands of the tempter. And that's exactly what he wants. What a sad situation. For, you know, like Asia, right in the midst of that hunger, he's not able to withstand its hunger Jacob asked him will you sell the birth rate he said take it man give me that porridge I want to drink nonsense right for one cup of porridge he said that okay fine take my birth rate and obviously you know God took took a note of it and he couldn't get that inheritance that blessing and his descendants you know previous to previous session we did that session his descendants are Edomites and King Herod was born in his line bloodline and he ended up to be like almost a demon killing the children of god god newborn babies and he was the one who killed john the baptist and they were avenging the children of god and who was the reason isha his attitude you want to become like isha get married to edomites and you know avenge your brethren avenge the children of god that's not christ-like attitude sorry and verse number 17 we discussed that and we will close for you know that afterward when he winned to inherit the blessing he was rejected for he found no place for repentance though he sought it diligently with tears i'm talking about isha after committing the mistake after committing the crime, there is no point because God would have fled the spot. Holy Spirit would have left you long ago and God would have said, already I'm done with this fellow. On Psalm 103, 9, for the spirit of the Lord will not strive with the spirit of man forever, neither will he hold his anger forever. It simply means our God is also having an upper limit for his patience, for his tolerance, for his compassion, for his everlasting mercies. you understand forever he cannot be like this yeah there is a limit but after that limit god would you know will say get lost and after that you go to his presence and you cry catch his feet shake his throne nothing is going to happen that is what exactly isha has done after having compromised on everything after having sold his birthright after having not paying attention to god's laws and commandments getting married to canaanites edomites jebusites all the ladies he went and flirted and he went and had fornication the adultery god is not ready to listen now see he just and his descendants are adversaries to god in fact they are in the bible but as adversaries to god but look at jacob of course he was a grabber but he stood on the mainline promise to inherit the promised land as it was told to his father grandfather abraham and he stuck to that promise he was always waiting on god right and he suffered a lot right he was sent away from home nobody came in search of him he struggled there for 20 years under his you know father-in-law laban he was a very shrewd man but then what happens ultimately god gets him out of that land and he makes him a nation and this nation enters into the promised land of canaan what a mighty blessing no this is what isha had lost who you want to be isha or jacob whatever if you obviously you make a choice as Jacob, but then you got to renew. You keep renewing that spiritual importance and spiritual appetite. Every day you need to eat that food to renew your strength and energy. You're all with me. All right. God bless you.
