Dear brothers and sisters, a warm welcome to one and all of you and I greet you in the name of a loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's my privilege and I'm very very happy and honored to be part of these sessions and I want to thank our beloved Lord and Savior Jesus for enabling these sessions and sincere thanks to the Holy Spirit who gives us this opportunity, the words and the wisdom that He instills. Alright, so warm welcome to this short session where we are dealing through various subjects but trying our best to condense it and then present. Therefore, you definitely don't have to spend a lot of time but at the same time, if you are not for this and you have interest in a lot of Bible teaching, then obviously you go to the playlist and you will see a lot of Bible teaching. Today we are going to deal with yet another interesting and important subject. And this subject is going to help you understand that our Lord Jesus is someone who is known for his wisdom and stature. Because Bible says in Luke 252, Jesus grew in wisdom of God and the stature and favor of God, Bible says. And how we grew, how we position things and portray things, explaining in parables and condensing things and encompassing everything into one simplified format determines how large is wisdom is. It's beyond human understanding. Okay. So, we are going to deal from Matthew chapter 22, verse 24 to 39 onwards, but where he is dealing with all the three people, Pharisees and Sadducees and scribes. So, I am going to take the paraphrase what he dealt with the scribes, but I am not going to ignore what he had done to Pharisees and Sadducees. He did some repair work before he went to the scribes. All three are very complicated people. Pharisees are strong believers in resurrection. Right? I am convincing and telling. But the thing is, they are hypocrites, according to Jesus. I am not saying anything. Why? Because what they teach is not what they practice. that's why Jesus is very very upset hey how can you emphasize and impose this kind of burden on my children while you don't practice any of these and that's a very valid question right it's a question to you and with question question to me if I were to teach from the Word of God I need to be a practitioner else I've always told in my messages I'm not yet there I've been very honest enough to admit that which is better right or I would say I had been like that but I overcome now but Pharisees would never admit they will all behave like we are the perfect people they will be picking the corner places in the marketplace and the crowdy places Matthew 6 you take and read Jesus would have told don't be a hypocrite standing at the corner of the streets and screaming on top of your voice that you know so much of Bible and all that this is the kind of mentality they have therefore these guys are testing our Jesus saying that is it loyal to pay tax to Caesar or not. And Jesus beautifully handles wisdom number 1, right? He says, bring the coin here, what you see? It is Caesar's picture, no? That means I have appointed him as the king of the earth, right? And Isaiah 9, it says the government runs on his shoulders and Romans 13 says that be submissive to your authorities. Not only that, Peter also mentions in, I think, 1st or 2nd Peter about being submissive to authority. So it's mentioned everywhere. You be submissive to authorities because I appointed them. Therefore, pay what is due to Caesar and pay what is due to God. Excellent answer. And he dealt with Pharisees. Now, second, Sadhazis are coming. The Sadhazis are better than Pharisees in terms of following the teaching. They are very loyal people to a large extent. But the big problem with Sadhazis is they don't believe in resurrection. and Jesus deals with them separately. All this happens before he gets into the scribes, right? And he deals with them as far as the resurrection is concerned and they ask a question, the lady marries seven guys, all the seven guys are dead. Now whose wife he will be in heaven in resurrection? That means they had no understanding of resurrection at all. Then Jesus told in simple terms, hey, you know what? You will not have this bodily form. In fact, all your memory will be completely erased. you will all be like angels. You will know each other, but you will not have that affection, oh my husband, oh my wife, oh my child, oh my first daughter, oh my second son and all that, nothing like that. You will be all having only one affection and one intimacy that is towards the Lord of Lords and King of Kings, that is our Lord Jesus. That's why you will see the 24 elders, they take off the crown and they bow down before the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. And the similar behavior you and I will also manifest after reaching there. All the memories of the past will be erased and we will be having only one relation and all that and that is that is that is what is called as that the transformation or transfiguration right transformation we will be given a different body form and all that but you will be able to recognize you will not have that kind of affection right and but because why your focus is on the lord of lots only such people can sustain in paradise you would have lived your life also like that giving your heart mind body and soul to the Father in heaven. Now that is where we are slowly coming towards. You understood Pharisees and Sadducees, right? It is a very detailed concept but I am condensing because my time is very limited. You all told me, no, short sessions only we want, brother. What is this? Always a long time preaching, no time and all that. So that is why I am condensing and telling, right? I was just joking, don't worry. Okay, so now the scribes, the third guys. The problem with scribes, no, too much into theology. They will be almost taking an inch tape or a scale and all that. They will be measuring, oh, this is what it is and all that. They will quantify everything. For everything, they will need a sign. For everything, they will need a proof without which, that's how mathematicians are, right? They need to be proven through a formula or an equation or something like that. They always need some sort of proof and you know only then they are going to believe believe they know they have no concept of faith they will never be able to understand what is faith and belief and how to trust God blindly without asking for a sign that's why you will see lot of scribes come from the Greek background Greeks are quite strong in mathematics and all that and even lot of Egyptians they are very strong in mathematics and all the important discoveries like clock and this and that even the pyramid, the kind of architecture and all, it had come from these kind of people. They are basically scholars. They do a lot of theology. Not against theologians, sorry, don't mistake me. Theology is good. Sometimes you need to understand the meaning. See, you speak to some theologians, for every letter they will have meanings. That level of details they will have. And each letter, each word, name, annotations, connotations and everything they will be able to tell in details, they will have multiple meanings. They are scholars and I am nothing before them, I am just telling you with all humility, they are great people. But the thing is, that will never, that will no way take you closer towards the spirit filled world, right? The spirit filled world and walking in the spirit, being led by the spirit, spirit related experiences, they will have no idea. Why? For which there is no proof, it is going to be a leading. The Holy Spirit is going to lead you then and there according to the scriptures, according to what has been given to you and the Holy Spirit on that very hour because Father is the ultimate person who decides, ultimate authority who judges, ultimate authority who approves of things. Therefore, we cannot ask everything in advance. No, even if you ask, you won't get your answers or you cannot ask God to prove. Tell me God, what is this equation? Why this happened? Why I got the sickness? Why I got this disease? I did not expect this from you. Come on, prove it to me or commit to me that it will not happen again. No, that is not spirit related experiences. That is not spirit filled life. That is why these scribes could never become disciples of Jesus. Why? Because Jesus is coming from a different world. It's a world of faith. It's a world of belief. It's a world of depending on God blindly. It's a world of allowing the Holy Spirit to lead you, right? Not by your wisdom, but by his wisdom. It's the word, he's coming from the world where the Holy Spirit will lead you according to the teachings, according to the scriptures. John 14, 26, he will bring to your remembrance all that Jesus taught. And he will be leading you from the front. He will be hand holding you. Therefore, you don't have to be worried, right? You have to depend on him and you don't sit and plan any equations. My life, my age is this much. My child is this much. My child's age is this much. if I have to work for 20 years, this is how I need to invest. This planning is all good. This is where I need to put lot of efforts and all that. This planning is good. But then you will not stick on your planning, on your wisdom, but you will be submitting the planning of your wisdom into the hands of the Holy Spirit. And you will ask him to handhold you and lead according to his will and desires. That is where the scribes always had the problem. No, why? because I'm hardworking. And most of the atheists, they are scribes, they are scholars. They would not depend on God. They would not depend on anything, right? They would always depend on themselves. It's hard work, you know. They win a gold medal or something like that, they would say, it's my hard work. This belongs to me. They won't say glory to God. My boast is in the Lord. It is God who enabled this wisdom and energy and capacity that I'm able to acquire this great No, such a word will never come from the mouth of a scribe. That why they are hard nuts to crack they are little I mean egoistic and lot of pride and all these things And they according to them from their perspective if you see they are right Because they have nothing to do with God We can't blame them. That's why Jesus meant little soft on these guys. He did not go as hard as Pharisees and Sadducees. Why? Because they were like half-cooked vegetables. Lukewarm. Neither hot nor cold. But these guys are cold completely. That's why Jesus was little soft on scribes. now which category you belong you should only decide right are you going to be hypocrites like pharisees are you going to be always working in confusions and misconceptions like sadducees are you going to be like hard nuts to be hard nuts to crack like cold people who have nothing to do with god like the scribes is what you should decide now what i'm going to do is in the remaining few minutes that i have two four or five minutes i'm going to read couple of this thing and this is where Jesus is what is it? Exponential extremely you know, he is outstanding in terms of wisdom. Now and when the Pharisees heard that he silenced the Pharisees they gathered together then one of them a lawyer asked him to question, testing him and saying that lawyer guy is a scribe he is well versed in knowledge teacher which is the great commandment of the law because this guy knows there are already 613 commandments available in the Old Testament let us put to test what is the primary commandment right now Jesus said to him you shall love the Lord your God in other book I think John or Mark or Luke I am not sure he asks somebody you tell me what is the primary commandment according to the Old Testament because all the people know the prime of all the commandment, the chief of all the commandment is this one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your soul. Right? This is coming from Moses. Right? If anyone of us stick to this commandment, there will be no blemishness. Because why? Jesus stuck to this commandment. That's why there was no synonym. But then it's not easy to follow this. Why? Because if you were to follow this, you will not have anything to do with the devil, demonic forces, sinful deeds and all that. In fact, you will become another Jesus. But we all have that carnal deeds in our flesh, isn't it? We have that Adamic sin ruining and ruling in us, isn't it? Therefore, we need the blood of Jesus to help us overcome, right? Now, this was very straight and clear for Jesus, for all the people. They all are great, no problem. Now, Jesus did not leave there. That's where he is outstanding. Now, this is the first and great commandment. And, he says, and the second is like this. Jesus introduces a new commandment. He elevates the first commandment to the next level, a different standard. What is that? You shall love your neighbor as yourself. You will not find this in the Old Testament. This is a New Testament commandment, new covenant standard, elevated standard, what Jesus had introduced. and why it is very tough because if you were a practitioner of this commandment all the 1050 commandments that are introduced in the new covenant will be encompassed in this one commandment it's such a powerful commandment yeah we are doing another series genealogy and evolution of Christian congregation and there we are dealing with the foundational principles on which Jesus taught Jesus spoke right and fifth principle, important principle is this one and this principle every law and commandment you will have to touch what are the laws and commandments? you will know how to forgive your neighbor you will know how to not to envy at your neighbor you will know how to not sledge your neighbor you will know how to not slander not to gossip, not to murmur against your neighbor you will know how to not complain against your neighbor you will know how to not harm your neighbor hurt your neighbor You will know how to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Why? Because you will not do any of these what I have mentioned in this list. You want to know more about this list? Take and read 2 Timothy 3, 1 to 9. And take and read 1 Timothy chapter 1 verses 9 and 10. And 1 Corinthians 6, 9 and 10. And Colossians 3, 5 to 9. And Galatians 5, 17 to 21. And there is one more thing. Mark 7, 21 to 23. There are 50 to 60 different types, varieties of sins. You will not do any of that to yourself, knowingly. Many people unknowingly they do it, unwillingly they do it. Fine, leave them. Knowingly or willingly you will not do such a thing to yourself. Why? Because you know it's going to harm you. It's going to hurt you. It's going to kill you. And you will not do that, right? A person who sound mind I talking about not insane people or people who are in insanity and inhuman and all that No I not talking about such people you are a sound you are a sound mind You are a believer in Christ You will not harm yourself knowingly Then how is it you are able to harm your neighbor Neighbor means whom? Who is your neighbor? Many people think the person who is living next to my house. Right? Or right hand side and left hand side and back side and front side. These are my neighbors. You know what? Every one of them who is not of your blood relationship or blood relative is a neighbor. Who are not of your blood related, for example your wife, your own child and your father, your mother, your cousin brothers, your nephew, niece, this and your uncles and your aunties and all these blood relations, no, they are not your neighbours, they are your blood relations, you have a name, right, uncle, auntie and all that you have. For example, your colleague and people who live next to your residence, your neighbourhood, whoever, the entire area and all your boss and everyone at workplace, they are all your And whoever strangers whom you meet on the road, you end up in road rage and all that. He is in your neighbor. That's what Bible says. You end up in any rage or anger against that person. You are thinking you are fighting against that person. No, no, no. You are harming yourself. Yeah. As good as like you are harming yourself. Because as much as you are hurting and harming the other person, you are harming and hurting yourself. That's what Jesus meant to say. You will not love to harm or hurt yourself, right? You will never allow others to harm or hurt you, right? Then how is it you are harming and hurting others? Which means the first commandment itself you have not fulfilled. Which means you have not even understood the love of God enough. If you had understood the love of God enough, the love of God will never condemn anyone. The love of God will never eliminate anyone, right? Love of God is full of compassion, bound to mercies, slow to anger. Psalm 145, 8 and 9, that's the character of God. Full of patience, full of tolerance. all the nine flavors in the fruit of the spirit Galatians 5, 22 and 23 joy, faith, love, peace you will be a peacemaker, you will pursue peace with men according to Hebrews 12, 14 and you will be a person who walk in holy deeds, somebody cracking a filthy joke, you will say no, it's wrong my brother, come here, I will tell you why it is wrong you will admonish you will not shy away saying that it's none of my business, why I should tell it's a sin, no, no, no, why, because you will not tolerate that your neighbor is hurting his himself hurting his body being an alcoholic or a drug addict you will go and admonish unless once you will tell this why because it's going to harm you my brother because if if i were to be an alcoholic i will not do that why because for these reasons and not only that you will slowly lead him into the spiritual dream and all that is this the way how you are dealing with your colleagues with your college mates with your neighborhood people and all that this is what you need to check why if the answer is positive yeah it's a green which means all the commandments in the bible you had met that's why jesus left behind only two commandments number one love the lord god with all your heart mind and soul which means what you will not end up doing anything that god anything that displeases god number two love the neighbor as yourself which means what as much as you know how to take good care of yourself you will take good care of all the mankind all the creations of God. Imagine if every one of us were to follow these two commandments, how this world would look like? It's already a paradise. You don't need another heaven. This is already a heaven. It's very tough. It's not easy. Because why? These two commandments are equal to 1663 commandments, putting together 613 plus 1050, at least, right? Roughly, I'm telling you. There are so many commandments which I have not accounted. According to me, every single scripture is like a commandment only okay then Jesus concludes this is the first and the great commandment and the second is like this and on these two commandments see I'm not saying this I'm telling you what Jesus said Matthew 22 14 on these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets Jesus told us not me if you practice these two holistically which means you have fulfilled all the commandments in the Bible.
