Good morning and good evening, my dear brothers and sisters. A warm welcome to one and all of you and I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It gives me a great privilege as always to be part of these sessions and I want to thank God who is enabling these wonderful moments that you and I could stay together through these discussions from Bible. The paraphrases that we are always speaking are the topics that would literally help you to grow in Christ, to grow as a spiritual person, as a strong person. We are not preaching religion here, but we are talking through the doctrines that Jesus left behind. We are talking through those instructions in the form of laws and commandments that the Holy Spirit inspired the apostles in Christ. Especially Paul the apostle wrote almost 14 books, including Hebrews. That's why I said almost the book author of Hebrews is not yet known. And there are so many laws and commandments that are left behind. And today you and I have the privilege to go through those. We have this beautiful Bible in the printed format. And I told you only after 14th century, this printed copy was given in the hands of mankind. But until then, nobody had the liberty or the choice even to read Bible, right? Because a lot of scrolls also were kind of in a lost, you know, lost and people had made efforts and excavated it and then they found out and then they printed Bible. So, this is precious book. It's like a treasure hunt. All right. Today, we are going to discuss about a very important topic. All of you will like this topic. Now, what is this topic? This topic is about Christian liberty. It's about liberalization and liberty. I'm sorry. Liberalization and liberty. Now, liberalization and liberty, two different aspects. Now, we are liberalized Christians. Let's understand that first and let's talk about liberty, which is tightly coupled to freedom and independence. You are not bounded to anything. Now, what is this liberalization? Liberalized Christians must understand this. First of all, Christians itself, the title was given at Antioch, according to Acts 11.26. for the first time the Christianity was commemorated as a congregation, as a denomination, as a community. Why? Because those days Christians were persecuted and they needed some sort of, you know, that community in the form of building the community together. And they couldn't openly go and confess that we are Christians. Why? Because it's not a legalized religion and they were counted as terrorists. And wherever they are found, it's like shoot and sight order. They are going to be caught and thrown into lion's den. And that's why a lot of people have secretly evolved as Christians. Even today also, there are a lot of people belonging to different religion. They accepted Christ, but they are scared of their religion. They are scared of their parents and wives and husbands. They are secret Christians even today also. And God blessed them. And I will tell you what, they are 10 miles ahead of us. Such brothers in Christ and sisters in Christ belonging to different religion. what a piety they have, right? They are the true people who could be compared to the early age Christianity. Now, coming to the original point, you and I are actually liberalized Christians. Those days, the liberty was not given. And now you can see that we are liberalized Christians. This religion is legalized and especially democratic country like India, you can practice Christianity. There are a lot of churches because of the British reign. There are a lot of churches that you can attend churches. You are not restricted and all that. So, we have that, we have that liberty. We are, we have, we are having that freedom and independence to practice Christianity. Actually, I covered the second topic first time, sorry. Now, who are these liberalized Christians? You are liberalized from what? You are freed from what? Simple, you are freed from Adamic sin, right? You are freed from the bondage, you are freed from the demonic forces, you are freed from the principalities in the power, you know, the principalities and the powers of darknesses according to the Bible as per Ephesians chapter 6. And what freed us? What actually freed us? Did you work for it? Did your father work for it? Did your grandpa work for it? Actually no. There was one person who was sent to this world. His name was Jesus and he is Jesus. And he is seated on the right side of the Father in heaven as our intercessor. And this person is called as second Adam who came as incarnate deity in the form of blood and flesh. in other words he is avatar the father in heaven himself decides to send his only son according to genesis 3 15 who will crush the head of the satan and his heels are going to be bruised by devil right that is the what kind of death jesus would go through on the cross he is going to be crucified he's been revealed as early as genesis 3 15 itself now god makes the decision to what to pronounce something called as liberalization you are liberalized in the name of jesus you are liberalized. Through the blood of Jesus, you are freed from all the bondage, whatever may be the bondage. It could be any infirmity, any iniquity, any transgression, any sinful deed. You might have been into prostitution. You are a liar. You are into bribery. You are into false accusation, gossiping, murmuring, sledging, slandering, murderer, anyone, whoever you may be, your past is not important for Jesus. In the name of Jesus, if you come to the Father, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess. Philippians 2, 10 and 11. That is enough. You have accepted Jesus as your life the way and the truth That is enough for the Father in heaven And he says you are freed from today You are liberalized from today All the sins of your past I will remember it no more Hebrews 8.12 says that. And yes, he is faithful God who will never, if he says he is not going to remember, you don't keep rewinding the tape, right? Because the devil will keep reminding you to keep you in that bonded state, to keep you as a bonded laborer, to keep you as this captive. He will keep bringing those bad dreams, bad visions, and he will send his agents. People will come and keep reminding you and they will trigger emotions, this and that. All these things are going to take place. But these are all the vials of the devil. Therefore, you need to use those weapons, spiritual weapons, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, breastplate of righteousness, helmet of salvation and sword of the spirit and six weapons are given in Ephesians 6, 12 to 19 if you read. Using that, a born again believer and who was washed by the blood of Jesus will have to fight out this battle to safeguard their liberty. That is where the problem is with Christians today. Through water baptism, remission of sins happens. Your sins are forgiven. You have, you, through repentance and you have reconciled with the father. But after that, what happens in your life? You are liberalized for that day, for that moment. But if you have to carry it forward, steadfast, long-lasting, concrete, you know, solid, stable and, you know, lifelong you need to feel that or you need to be part of that liberal, I mean, in that liberalized state, what is important is you got to be consistent in your Christian walk. And these are the guidelines that the Bible is telling us. These are the guidelines, these are the instructions, and these are the rules, and these are the laws and commandments in simple words that the Father in heaven expects us to follow. And if you don't follow, what happens? You lose your liberty. And you are again into that, you know, into that bondage from where you have been delivered, from where you have being freed. You yourself make a choice to get into the bondage. But that's not God's call. And you end up blaming God also. Some people blame God. See, I left everything and came for Christ. Now see, he has drugged me, he has ditched me and he has ignored me and all that. No, God did not ditch anyone. God has no reasons to ditch anyone. He gave his life on the cross, shedding his precious blood. Although he was just, he died for the unjust, filthy people like you and me. Bible says in 1 Peter 1 19. Right. And he sacrificed his life. And you think he sacrificed his life and shed his blood to ditch you. He's not sadistic God. Devil is one. Right. He's the murderer, destroyer, and he's a sadistic person. He enjoys when people gets into trouble, sickness, problem and disasters. But Jesus went across ends of the earth and he healed people and he did good to the people, did miracles and freed them from the bondage of evil spirits. Bible says in Acts 1038 such a person or such a father in heaven who is full of love agape love agape love is unconditional unchangeable unmistakable irrevocable even if you make efforts to throw away this agape love it will come back to you that you know what is that boomerang that wood is there right you throw it and it will just circulate and it will come back to you there is some calculation or some scientific reasons to that i do not know how it works it's something like that boomerang wood you You know, agape love. Even irrevocable. Father is always a loving person. And never have this intention or thought in your mind. The liberty once I got, once upon a time I was liberalized in the name of Jesus. But, you know, today I lost it. So, I am getting back to the old sin. You are a person who is full of unclean spirit. You are actually demon possessed. Because any child of God will know how to endure temptation. In the midst of temptation, in the midst of troubles, in the midst of difficulties, They know how to walk in steadfast spirit. They know how to walk in faith. That's what exactly we are going to deal now, right? Now, this is one category. Now, another category. I am still stuck to the title Christian Liberty. I am going to talk from Galatians chapter 5 verses 1 to 5 or 6, right? Wait, I will come to that. This liberalized Christians, our next category I will see and I will get into this session, right? I will read the scriptures for you. You know who are they? they are born again believers. I am a born again believer too. Some of you listening to me are still in the mainline churches, Catholics, CSI and all that, no problem. And some of you have walked out and have come into the born again category, going to spiritual churches in Pentecost, no problem. But I will tell you the behavior of a born again believer in the modern era, right? It's not the behavior of the early age Christianity. They were properly doing things, But they had a problem too. And Paul is actually trying to correct them. That was a problem there also. But they got corrected. But even today, the same problem is continuing. And that is the vile of the devil. That is how the devil is so cunning to bring that confusion. What is the attitude? In the name of Jesus, I am freed. Therefore, I am not bound to law. This is where they have a problem. Because to many people, the law and commandments means in their head, it's all about Moses. Moses gave us laws and commandments and all that. And that is according to the old covenant. And there is no more law. Law is abolished. And we are freed. And in the name of Jesus, we have been given this free gift called as grace. And you know how they translate that grace also? That is where the problem is. There was a guy by name Nicholas. He was part of Paul's team. And he was a follower of Paul's teaching. And then he also did ministry. That guy, you know, he preached something like this. Where sin multiplies, grace multiplies, he said. Many people took it in wrong sense You know they started to sin more Therefore more grace will multiply and no problem Blood of Jesus name of Jesus grace is there to forgive us Blood of Jesus is there to cleanse us Any number of times you want us in sin Because why You are a liberalized Christian You are not bound to any law. You are not bound to any commandments. It's a foolish preaching. It's a cult preaching. Right? It's a demonic preaching. And I'll prove to you how it is. Cult preaching. Bible says in Revelation 22-14, Blessed are those who abide in the laws and commandments of the Bible. when it is written in Revelation, the last chapter, last book, it applies to the entire Bible, 66 books. And I will tell you the second reason. 613 laws and commandments are in the Old Covenant. You know how many are there in the New Covenant? 1050, 1050, which is multiplied by 2 almost. If that was unnecessary, God would not have sent Jesus. Jesus would not have sent His Holy Spirit who came upon all the apostles and they left behind so many doctrines in the form of laws and commandments. difference between laws and commandments I already told you commandment is like a free will thing right they put a signboard saying go slow and you will say no I will go fast there is a steep hilly place and you will fall down the mountain from the cliff annual die because they say that you know we cannot keep monitoring the speed of every vehicle but we put that signboard with a reflector even in the night it is visible but reading that if you want to go at such a speed and get killed that is your choice that is commandment there are a lot of free will things that are given by God where you decide what is I tell you for you I tell it for your good many parents know they instruct children I don't do this because it is for your good but they will be acting okay okay papa okay mama and outside they will be getting into all sorts of mischievous mischievous habits they'll spoil their liver with alcoholic habit smoking lungs will get killed before marriage itself they'll be on sick but but can the father go around and monitor no it is not possible it is a commandment right law is like strictly if you are in any country you will have to abide in the law if you violate any law for example you get into all sorts of malpractices you smuggle gold that is against the law and you will be arrested and you will be thrown into jail right you take bribery and you are caught red-handed you will be thrown into jail you cheat income tax you will be caught and you will be thrown into jail you failed to file tax against the law. Examples I gave you. If that was unnecessary, God would not have given his laws and commandments. New Testament is full of laws and commandments. Even for example, Matthew 6.33, seek the kingdom of the Lord first and his righteousness. The rest all will be added to you. What is this? Many people say it's a commandment. If I want to seek, I will seek. If I don't want to seek, I don't want to seek. Okay, fine. I'll come in your way only. you don't want to seek then you don't get any blessings if you seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness and the blessings will come therefore if you have not sought God and his commandments and his and his Holy Spirit then don't complain to God I don't have this see my condition my I'm sick this and that right if you are taking it as a commandment but you know how I would take I would take it as a law yeah I would take it as an enforcement because God everything that he has written here in the form of promises laws and commandments are only for our good all his plans for us are not for evil but for our good bible says in jeremiah 29 11 and in the name of this christian liberty people have learned to ignore many things and this is called as cult teaching cult preachers false prophecies for false prophets a lot of cult churches have evolved where they've built in lot of casual attitude that's why people don't walk in diligence they don't consider this christian life is like battlefield the devil is ready with all the missiles mission guns and this and that to fire at us. And if you are not careful, bullets will come and harm you, you will be killed, finished. You will be falling into the hands of the tempter and after the tempter takes over you, you know what will be your condition? Terrible. You will be thrown into the lake of fire eternally, right? So, let not your liberty introduce more bondages and those bondages paving the way towards a destiny lake of fire, right? and that is the problem in today's Christian especially the born again believers they go by this Nicoletian principle or they take grace for granted or they misunderstand grace and they mix old covenant with new covenant old covenant is law, new covenant is grace who said that? new covenant is full of laws and commandments and when you follow these laws and commandments you will understand the value of grace you know what is the actual definition of grace if you have understood grace you will never sin brother you know what? to get this grace introduced to you and me Grace is like unmerited favor. You get multiple chances, right? There are various types of sins. And for example, you are a transgressor, which means certain sins you are involved willingly. But God has a limit to forgive you, but still grace forgives you. When you go and repent truly from your heart, God forgives you, but there is a limit. Psalm 139, he will not strive with the spirit of man forever, neither will he hold his anger forever. There is a day that's coming where the wrath of God shall descend on you because you have insulted the blood covenant and the Son of God you have trampled and the Holy Spirit you have insulted. Hebrews 10 29 John 3 36 says the wrath of God is going to descend on you someday. So don't keep testing the Lord and tempting the Lord. Right? That's what Jesus also said to the devil. It is written do not tempt the law. So you need to stick to those. That is also a commandment. Correct? No? That is also a law or a commandment. Whatever you want to take. I take it as a law. Correct? No? And some Christians truly they keep trying but they keep falling down Don worry grace is there to forgive you But according to the old covenant you will be immediately condemned But here no condemnation grace doesn condemn you but it unmerited favor It gives you phenomenal number of chances Time and again Therefore you fight it out Fight it out Years together Weeks together Days together And you overcome. But you will not misuse grace. You know, grace is there to forgive me. Therefore, let me go on watching this adult movie. Let me go on, you know, speaking lies. Let me go on taking bribery. Anyway, I'm giving titan offering. That's blood money. God doesn't need that money. Sorry. Right? You're misusing grace. You're insulting the blood covenant. So watch out. Understand the difference. You want to know more about grace and mercy and the differences, there is a series we have done in the playlist. It's available. Go through it. You will understand. How many of you are with me? Correct? So in the name of liberty, don't move around and freak around in the name of Jesus. That's not what, you know, is right. And I will read now. Actually, my time is up. But I'm reading those five or six verses. Christian liberty. Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free. And do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Do not go back to the old sins from where you were redeemed. I explained it already. In the name of grace, especially in the name of Jesus again. I can do anything I want. Who are you? You are not a born again believer. You are not a new covenant person. Why? Because you are still standing in the same place. There is no meaning for you to go through this water baptism process. Understand? That's what Bible is saying. You are still in that yoke, right? That bond bondage is still on your neck. You are still being pressed hard and you have nullified the concept of grace and the name of Jesus. Yeah. Yet you are not condemned. That's the beauty of grace. You have the second chance. indeed I Paul say to you that if you become circumcised Christ will profit you nothing those days circumcision was a big problem about which I spoke in the previous session also if you are circumcised there was a mix between law and grace people who were recently you know especially Jewish people who have accepted Christ they were emphasizing circumcision is the rule and you are circumcised it doesn't matter you are uncircumcised it doesn't matter also what matters is you have to value this grace and live by faith. That is Paul's principle, Paul's concept. Now, not Paul's concept, it's Holy Spirit's theory. Paul was writing it. And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is debtor to keep the whole law, right? Even if you're circumcised, the law and commandments, you need to still abide. And you have become estranged from Christ. You have attempted to be justified by law. You have fallen from grace. also you need always people you know clinging only to the law who are those christians you know orthodox christians traditional christians law law law and commandments no no grace they won't even understand what is grace unmerited favor they don't know the definition that's why i explained it will be taking time why because they are mainline christians they are mainline churches and they just don't understand everything is like a method for them and you cannot go by that and And such people will be really judgmental. You know, they will condemn people. They will be into condemnation. They will be into judgmental attitude. So, watch out who you are, right? For we, through the Spirit, eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. Now, he touches on the faith. Faith is important parameter. For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision, you may be a circumcised Christian according to the law, according to the old covenant standard, nor uncircumcision avails anything but faith working through love. You may be an uncircumcised Christian. He is writing to those people to the early age. Because Gentiles, lot of Gentiles that accepted Christ, they were all uncircumcised. Similarly, you may be a brother who is from a different religion, different culture and you are called as uncircumcised fellow. Or you are a born again believer, you are circumcised because I know I was born and brought up in Christian family, this and that. Therefore, I know Christ better than you. whoever you may be, if you have not understood the concept of grace through which you have been given that faith to overcome, to overcome every single time you are pushed into temptation, problems, trouble, sickness, disease, bondage, you don't have that faith in the name of Jesus to overcome. If you have not understood the grace, if you are mixed up with things between old covenant, new covenant, which I have explained, then it's useless. You are living a kind of a life, a lukewarm life, Bible says God will vomit you out of his mouth. So don't push yourself to that state. Please understand the Christ liberty, the Christian liberty is to exercise faith. You have been given that liberalization. You have been given that liberty to exercise faith in its fullest threshold. And that's why grace is there to help us and provision us with that faith and confidence, with that hope and confidence. Say being trained by saving grace, Titus chapter 2, if you read the later half, that is I think from 9 to 15 or 11 to 15, you will understand what is being trained by saving grace. I have preached about that also. I can go on and on with so many examples, but I think you understand the concept here, right? In the name of liberty, do not misuse grace. In the name of liberty, do not misuse the name of Jesus and insult the blood covenant. God bless you. Take care. In pandemic situations, stay at home as much as possible. Don't roam around.
