Good morning and good evening my dear brothers and sisters. A warm welcome to one and all of you and I greet you in the name of our loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As always I feel very privileged and happy to be part of these sessions and importantly have fellowship with our beloved brothers sisters friends whoever you are and wherever you are you are my brother you are my sister regardless of skin color culture doesn't matter because that's the way how Jesus looked at the mankind and he was working with that love and compassion this is a very short session it's a kind of a continuous efforts that we put in place where we bring in a lot of interesting topics which could shed a lot of light in this world where there are full of confusions to mold right and there are a lot of distractions and you do not know what decisions to make and all these are very very practical teachings right how you could overcome challenges in your life and how you could fight against the viles of the devil how to keep the viles of the devil and the principalities and the heavenlies and the powers of darknesses right under your feet so these are the teachings that we always put in place and that's why it's very important for you to pay attention. Today we are going to review something under the title, under the subject no one can stand against the will of God. No actions of the devil will prosper against the will of God. In other words, all of you might have heard these kind of sessions from many people. So let's talk, let's take two steps backward and let's review this title very carefully. right now what happens is where is the will of God or when is the will of God put into some sort of test when I say test means it's not the examination test or something similar to that you can say so what happens is you approach God with a certain agenda with a certain expectation with a certain petition and with a certain application for a problem which was like long long term you're battling against their problem or there is a short-term problem or there is a futuristic expectation so many things right we talk about our children's future we talk about our problems at workplace marital problems and the married life you are not having any peace this and that so many things the materialistic needs i want to buy a new car property you have a big list of petitions which is nice bible says philippians 4 6 make your request known to god but and be anxious for nothing why bible says be anxious for nothing that's that's the next step what we are going to review anxiety basically builds pressure you understand what does it mean let us review that in detail you are telling god everything that you want and you are pressurizing him you better listen to my needs and you fulfill it's as good as like you enter into a shop or a mall mall or a you know stores right any stores shopping stores you have a big list and the helper will be there there will be a lot of helpers and you will say hey get me this get me there they'll be piling it up the moment you give that order or command to that helper or sometimes we can place online order also here in india amazon flip card big basket all these are very famous shopping mart's correct no and you can order and they are going to ask you to pay when you pay the order is guaranteed it will be delivered for sure on a stipulated date whatever they have agreed with you and you have accepted that so and so date the order which had placed will have to be delivered and they deliver it right this is not similar to that a god is not running some online shopping grocery or mart or something like that. Please remove that mindset from your head, right? Why am I saying this? Materialistic shopping is different from the spiritual deeds, right? And materialistic needs you are placing in the hands of the father from a spiritual perspective, how it is to be understood. God is the only person who understands the real difference between good then why? Because he is the only person who can see the future. You and I cannot see the future. Future means what? You know, next microsecond itself is future. Many people future means 10 years down the line, one year down the line. No, no. Next microsecond, next minute, next hour is the future. You don't know what will happen the next hour. Therefore, how do you emphasize God with what intention, with what diligence or with what wisdom, with what assurance, basically you are pressurizing God asking him, you are hand twisting him saying that you better do it God why? because you, how can God fulfill that? because he understands, for example you want a car next year and he understands that car definitely will meet with an accident in another 6 months down the line therefore you know what, he will not grant that petition for one and a half years, you will be very upset with God, you will be very disappointed but you have money, you are not able to buy the car, for some reasons the car is just not getting you know set in your mind you are not liking the color you're not liking the make this and that long long ago I had a similar I never had an AC air conditioner car long ago right then we were always looking for a car never later money will be a problem or budgeting economic stuff all three or one only or you know something is not suiting our desire we want a seven eight seater car like that and either budget is a problem or the make or a model is a problem we kept in prayer kept in prayer and nothing happened one day we selected one car and we were about to book that's when we have discovered the car manufacturer stopped the making that car a year ago and that was a old model that night myself and my wife know we really wept we were very disappointed one car we selected god we are we never had an air conditioning car at all and we are waiting on your feet prayed about it and how is that you are not answering fine we slept silently very very sorrowful the next day morning we got up and we went to or work true incident you believe it or not my wife calls me with all excitement you know what happened you know what happened tell me i don't know what happened you have to tell me only then i will get to know maruti suziki released a new car and it fulfills exactly all our requirements budgeting met the seven seater car ac this that that this and all that i was amazed she was amazed And you know what? Interestingly, we never prayed the previous night. We slept with sorrow. I'm telling you what. You don't have to pray all the time for the same petition. Once you tell God, that's enough. He understands. Why? Because you are making that prayer with one disclaimer. May not my will, but may your will be done. This is exactly what Jesus prayed in Gethsemane. That may not my will, but your will be done. First he said, take away the cup. then he said no no no not my will father me or will be done right if you have permitted if you have allowed it according to your will i will accept it no problem similarly you don't have to keep praying about the same thing that's a true incident i'm telling god blessed us with that wonderful car and we roamed to so many places together family outing and we enjoyed of course it's a low budget car only uh many of you know this i don't want to mention the name of the car forget it. Okay, so like that I can go on and on. Sometimes I pray for the blood report and I go, the readings are here and there, it is different. I get very upset. Then the Holy Spirit reminds me, hey, you are the hand twisting God. You are expecting God to fulfill what you want. You are not ready to wait for God to fulfill his will. This is not right. Now, why I am explaining all of this is beloved. In life, there are circumstances, situations, there are various you know incidents events that happens not all of them will keep you happy not all of them are going to be pleasing you many of them are going to really leave you red-faced really leave you perplexed you don't even know sometimes why such i prayed for one thing i get 10 problems instead of getting one solution for a problem i get another 10 problems i'm telling you god is in control this is exactly what you need to keep telling to you as christian brothers and sisters understand this one thing for sure. God is in control over every situation and there is a plan behind that situation. Yeah. He's planning something big and God is not going to plan anything small. In one day he created the entire world. So you can imagine how mighty would be his plans. Your petition would be a small petition but then if you leave it into the hands of God to his will, to his divine will and plan purpose, there are going to be bigger things behind it. you may not understand. I am telling you, you need not understand. This is the lesson I learnt in my life. And even now also I commit the same mistake sometimes. I am so desperate for a situation. I go and ask, not only materialistic, spiritual also. I want to do lot of things for God. But God would say, slow down. I know when to give what. That's it. I would leave it there. Okay, Father, done. Right? But that desperation, that anxiety builds up because of desperation. and anxiety builds pressure also and the pressure will definitely take you towards a side where you will definitely forget that you are hand twisting God no one can hand twist God he is God universal God yeah and he can be never hand twisted now here is one incident where we are going to read from the word of God so far you are with me no see always we look at from both the perspective these are very practical teachings that's why people really appreciate this is very helpful for me So, today, if you have, we will conclude later, okay? Turn your Bible to Acts chapter 5, verses 33 to 42. I will be quickly reading. Here is an incident where when they heard this, they were furious and took counsel to kill them. Right? Kill whom? Kill the God of her. Sorry. But when the officers came and held them. sorry it's about the apostles it's about the apostles they were very very angry on these apostles and then say especially peter right peter they were very angry and because peter mentions many things in the previous that's why i took little time to glance okay he was mentioning about god our fathers have sent messiah to deliver us isn't that he's talking about jesus they were very furious because to whom he is talking are the or bunch of rabbis very intellectual They know Book of Torah upside down, top to bottom, bottom to top. And this Peter is an uneducated fellow. You illiterate fellow, how dare you teach us? That was anger. And number two, they are not ready to accept, neither were they able to ignore. One side they were amazed how this fellow is able to tell everything. On the other side they were not ready to accept Why Because they have that kind of you know mental block Mental block We also have this mental block See anxiety we discussed pressure we discussed you know hand twisting God Likewise, mental block. God will communicate back immediately. My son, wait. My daughter, hang on. I am working on it. Why are you in a rush? Mental block. When you have mental block, you will never be having any listening skills. Nothing will get inside your ear. That's a big problem. Human psychology. Now here there is a mental block and that triggered anger, furious and took counsel to kill them. They are ready to murder. Murder a guy on a simple altercation. You don't disagree with somebody, leave them. Who are you to judge and kill them? Today many many people in religious conflicts, they kill each other. In India also it is happening. I don't want to take any religion name here. You all know. Then one in the council stood on a paris named Gamaliel. Now comes Gamaliel. The topic is about Gamaliel and we connect it to the will of God. Gamaliel, never forget, he was Mr. Paul's teacher. Three years he studied in Gamaliel's university. See, Gamaliel is a well-renowned person, a teacher of the law, held as respect by all the people and commanded them to put the apostles outside for a little while. Two things you learn. Gamaliel is a very decent guy. He didn't want to hurt anybody's feelings. See, people who are literate, who are on the literacy side, they need to learn one thing. They got to be gentle in their attitude, right? Especially when you talk to illiterates, don't stoop to their level, right? you need to have some decency forget about literates, illiterates you need to have that mannerism Gamaliel was a man of good conduct and good speech and good knowledge and wisdom and he understands that there is something wrong because these guys are discussing and on the other side he is also saying these acts of the apostles in the name of Jesus then there is something wrong it's just not connecting, coinciding how it were to be a truth we are killing the wrong guy That means his blood is on us. That's exactly what he's trying to say. Right? And first thing is mannerism. Second thing is, he wants to be outspoken, not scared. He's very bold and he wants to speak. And this Paul studied under Gamaliel, perhaps these were some of the characteristic features he got from his guru, his teacher. And that is why he was able to immediately pay attention when Jesus blinded his eyes. Who are you, Lord? And he was immediate, quick to, you know, get into that gentleness and that mannerism of good conduct and good listener. Immediately, Jesus could use Paul. Where did he learn? He learned it from his master Gamaliel. Okay. And he said to them, men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you stand, what you intend to do regarding these men. For some time ago, he talks about few people, false prophets. Many, many people came. Like today also, there are a lot of people who come in the name of Jesus and they're fooled. I'll be skipping verse number 36 and 37. The 37 I will read. And after this man, Judas of Galilee rose up the days of census and drew many, many people up for him. He also perished. And all who were, and all who obeyed him were dispersed. So, all the false prophets, he is naming one by one, they all dispersed. If Jesus is also the false prophet, that is his intention. now I say to you keep away from these men and let them alone for if this plan or this work is of men it will come to nothing but if it is of God you cannot overthrow it lest you even be found to fight against God and they agreed with him the moment that's all I want to read the moment he preached this I mean preach means what he told outspoken guy very very firstly he is known for his prominence and knowledge Secondly, what he told, nobody could defend because he told something powerful there. If this is from God, if this is not of man, if it is from God, who can overthrow it? Who can fight against God? Always you should have that intention, right? When situations come against you, if this is something that God allows, he is definitely going to make a way for me to escape. If this is of the devil and if God is literally watching it and when I pray about it, God is going to defend my case. Similarly, there are unexpected situations which would not be an answer for your petition. You prayed for some X number of things to happen. Only two things were sanctioned. The rest of all things were kept on hold. You don't be upset with God. Why? Because he knows the timing, first thing. Right? He knows when to give, what to give. Secondly. Thirdly, everything he will execute according to his divine will and plan in its time, in its season. And fourthly, these are the things on what you prayed. Understand this. Fourthly, on things that you haven't prayed or haven't even thought about, unprecedented events and unforeseen incidents. I haven't even thought, I haven't even expected. I didn't know such a sickness will strike my family. I didn't know my father would be you know getting into this much of sickness and bedridden. I didn't know my wife would go to this kind of trouble. My husband had problems at job. This and that right. I didn't know. I didn't expect. I'll tell you what. If God had basically taken a note of it. He is in control and there is no if statement. God has definitely taken a note of it. Nothing can come to you without crossing God. I always keep making that statement to my heart. It reached you not before crossing God That the way how I look at unprecedented events and such a person will never say oh I never expected it and all that You need not expect anything You need not be really shocked or dismayed or discouraged because of such an unprecedented event that really shook you, that really led you to some loss. Don't worry. Why? Because it crossed God the Father. He's on watch. And He's still permitting. Why? Probably He wants you to stay strong in faith. Probably it's a test for your faith. Right? This incident was a test for these guys' faith and knowledge. Both of the things are put to test. Knowledge, faith, they are basically proportional to one another. Without faith, there is no knowledge which will be given some sort of, you know, light. And without knowledge, there is no faith. Faith is put into action without, not without knowledge. Knowledge is never put to action without faith. Both these things are tightly coupled. These guys are put to test on both the sides. And that's why Gamaliel speaks the right thing here. Hey, let us wait in patience, right? Don't go by your head filled knowledge or don't go by your faith according to the old covenant and ignore the new covenant just like that. Who knows if this person Jesus is the real son of God, who can overthrow that plan and purpose? And you see how these guys are performing miracles. They are not magicians. They are not sorcerers. And they went and checked their background. They were born fishermen. They were illiterates. and now they are doing something miraculous, something marvelous. And how can we basically ignore just like that? You understand? So let me give you a conclusive summary. First thing is, when you place your petitions in the hand of God, please leave it to God to decide everything. Let us will be done. Number two, there are unprecedented events. There are unknown events, unknown scenarios that would be crossing your path in life, shaking you sometimes, leaving you confused, leaving you blank and blind and blunt. Do not worry. Why? Because God has definitely taken a note of it. In fact, it crossed God and then only it reached you. Number three, if it were of God, first of all, you need to understand the source, right? Source is from the devil. Still God is in control. Source is from God. Still God is in control. There is nothing, you know, that is out of control from God's perspective. But then you need to still discriminate the source. If it is from God, the Holy Spirit will clearly tell this is from God. Why I am saying this, I will tell you, I will come to the point. With that we close. If it is from the devil, Holy Spirit will still tell you it is from the devil. It is not the will of God, but God is in control. You got to pray about it. See, if it is from God, without you praying, without you petitioning and all that, you don't have to break your head. Because why? The Holy Spirit clearly, you know, got you the answer. It is from God. He will show you from the scriptures. If it is from the devil, it is the viles of the devil that is trying to attack you and harm you. Never ever take it for granted. That is the will of God. For example, sickness. Not all sickness are permitted by God. Sometimes God permits sickness to chastise you, to bring you back to track. But not all sicknesses are from God. Yeah. Certain things, you know, it comes from the devil as an attack. And God really, you know, permits such things also. Why? Because he wants you to pray, stand strong in faith, claim the verses, give glory to the name of Jesus and his holy stripes by which you will be, through which you will be healed. Right? There is a prayer that is expected of you and Holy Spirit will clearly tell you, this is not from God. And he will tell you this is not because of your mischievous attitude or because you have been a defaulter. You are also an innocent. Then why it is coming? It is coming because it's a test for your faith. It's a test how much you have understood Bible that you have to resist the devil. You don't accept everything that the devil brings to your table gladly. Absolutely. You got to pray about it. You got to discriminate. And if it is not of God, if the devil is attacking you, God still permits it. Why? Because he wants you to pray about it. But if God is in control and he is the one who basically, you know, makes the decision, there is no intervention of this devil and all that, then sometimes you don't even have to pray. You have to just praise him. Okay, God, you allowed it, my father, and I will really wait on your feet and I will basically wait for your will to be done. But if it is not of God, then you got to pray about it. Sometimes you have to resist the devil in prayer. God will still answer, right? And that's where the leading of the Holy Spirit will help. Sometimes people pray, Lord, please heal me this and that. They will claim all the verses. Then they will say, may your will be done. You need to understand something, right? God's will is always for us to stay healthy and long life and all that right you sometimes don't have to use it may your will be done I have confidence God that in the name of Jesus I will be healed I know this is your this was your will and that's why my Jesus went to the cross and he suffered for me and this is the devil which is trying to inflict me with sickness for no reasons and I disagree to accept the sickness in the name of Jesus I claim healing it is situational based that's where you need the leading of the spirit.
