Namaskaram, good morning and good evening my dear brothers and sisters. A warm welcome to one and all of you and I greet you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As always, it's one of the wonderful moments in our life to be gathered under this one name, the name of Jesus. Many people want to be involved in this kind of gatherings and study and all that but situation doesn't permit, health doesn't permit, their mindset doesn't permit, they're involved in some or other things or they've gone through some disastrous happenstance that took them away from the love of God or they got defocused in the journey of life, right? Anything is possible. So if you are here right now watching this video that we are here to meditate from the word of God, you can be very sure blessed are you. You can be very sure that God's blessing is definitely on you. Once again a warm welcome and this is a kind of short session and generally we pick topics where we are able to cover in a short span of time. There are many people who left feedback that we are not able to follow the detailed Bible teachings because my calling for this ministry, the Holy Spirit clearly told me this two years ago when we when he opened the doors for ministry is to pick a subject and we will end up meditating contemplating for 40-50 hours easily. some of the series that I could remember have gone even for 100 plus sessions and in various episodes we discuss so if you are a person who wants to know more of the Bible we have done all that researches with the help of the Holy Spirit of course you are welcome to test my spirit there is no reason that I need to be a cult speaker and cheat you and I need your tithe and this and that never would we have stretched his hand please give us money and this and that so your money may be with you, blessed are you Keep it. We are not after money, we are not after popularity, but we are after your soul, right? None of us should be thrown into the lake of fire. That is the only mission and vision. And while we live our lives here on earth, we can convert this earth, which is ruled by the demons. The ruler of the earth is the devil. We can transform this world to paradise and heaven. This is how, wherever Jesus went, wherever Jesus walked across the ends of the earth. Do you think so? That everybody felt the pressures, tremors, panicking, this and that? No. Everybody felt as if heaven had come down. Like you and I being the followers in Jesus, you and I being the disciples in Jesus, if you have the true discipleship in you, you and I can also give the same, not feeling, it's emotion, not an emotion or a feeling, but real-time experiences. People, we are able to deliver people from their bondages in the name of Jesus. All right. Warm welcome to the series again and to the session. We are going to discuss today from the book of Isaiah. It is a time box to discussion. We will come close on time. Another 10-15 minutes we will close on time. Isaiah chapter 1 verses 21 to 31 will be our meditation verse. Now, the title of this paragraph, the title of this paraphrase, Degenerate City, right? Or the city that has gone into destruction. Now, many people, when I say city, or many people might read this as city, city, city, they may think, you know, it's talking about Jerusalem, it's talking about, you know, the city at that point of time and all that. I always tell you, there is no new covenant without old covenant. You should never forget that. therefore when you read old covenant you should always have this attitude, you should always have this intention to connect the old covenant with the new covenant it's possible, you should if you are well versed in bible if you have understood bible clearly once or twice if you read you get a fair understanding then afterwards you should slow down you should read bible very very slowly and connect these verses with the new covenant commandments and laws and the teachings and the preachings and the parables that Jesus spoke to you and me and taught us. Only then you will be able to master in that subject. Not only that, you are not going to go to some theological college or Bible college and teach people. No, you will be able to extract and discover the principles of life. Only then, you know. So, many people ignore the Old Covenant completely. Those books are, you know, referring to the Old Covenant people. There are many Christians like that. New Covenant people, we are New Covenant people, therefore we will stick to these 27 books. 66 minus 27, all these books, we will leave it aside. No, it's not like that. Jesus himself said in Matthew 5, 17, I never came to abolish the old covenant laws, but I came here to fulfill and extend these laws and commandments written in the old covenant to the next level. Refine it, make it, you know, enriched and make it more powerful, meaningful. You understood? I mean, I don't mean to say old covenant laws and commandments are unmeaningful. No, they are meaningful, but then they were practiced more from a traditional perspective. right you do this bend down they'll bend down you get up and in a nominal i was a nominal christian i was in traditional churches now i don't even know why you know that there will be you know the pastor or priest will give that time in in tamil it comes as samadhan samadhan means we will be bowing down and we'll say you know peace be to you peace be to you i didn't know the meaning i did it as a traditional practice but the same piece you can read it in john 14 127 when you will get the the peace the peace that I give you is not like the world gives right it's not a traditional peace or external or artificial kind of you know saying hi how are you good morning are you doing good and all that no it's inside you right it should it should travel inside right inside you you will never be the person filled with bitterness envy offense grudge this and that right you will you will learn to love everyone you will learn to forgive everyone you will learn to walk according to the standards of God then only you are called as a A person who is walking in the light. You are a person who is walking in wisdom. Why am I explaining all of this? According to the new covenant standards, the city simply means you and me. How many of you are with me? The city simply means you and me. Our body, our mind, spirit, soul, physical anatomy and spiritual anatomy put together is nothing but the temple of God. Temple of God is nothing but our body in whom the Holy Spirit dwells. 1 Corinthians 3.16 says. many verses are like that right the holy spirit will come after me he will be like me of my own stature but he will dwell right inside of you why if jesus were to be here imagine he will be like so for example there are a lot of swamiji's and all that right munis and all this people are in some time mountains people go to meet them and get their blessing and all the people who belong to other religion like that jesus would have become one swamiji swami jesus something like that and for you to get that turn you may not even get that turn because population is so vast everyone wants to meet Jesus imagine at least all Christians wants to meet them whether they intentionally or unintentionally whether they know the reason or purpose to meet them or they don't know the reason or purpose they want to meet them because why it will become like a traditional practice it will become like a ritual so you may get your turn you may not get your turn in that case correct now it will be like a lottery for example visas made a lottery system. You may get it by luck. That would be the condition if Jesus would be still alive. That's why Jesus said it's good if I'm taken up after me there will be given someone called as Holy Spirit and he is like me. He is of me. He is through me and he will dwell in you and he will bring to your remembrance the teachings, the words I spoke, the laws and commandments and he will lead you. He will be your helper. It's nothing but Jesus coming in the form of spirit in simplified format in diversified format and he is living right inside us therefore you don't have to depend on any lottery system right in the name of jesus you confess remission of sins takes place accept him as your law as his law as your lord and savior philippians 2 10 11 acts 2 38 jesus will holy spirit will come and dwell in you okay now it's about you and me i have to give all these references to set the context you are with me so far now this city once upon a time city means always it's It's referred as your body and my body, you and me, right? Together, body, mind, spirit, soul put together, you and me. It's us. Now, it may look little prophetical kind of thing, but then you need to connect yourself or plug yourself into this prophetical verse and start to look at yourself. What is your position before God, right? If it is you, replace your name in that city, right? the degenerate city. If your name is Matthew, the degenerated Matthew. Or Matthew who has gone into destruction. Or probably if you are a sister, right, you have the name Elizabeth or Martha or Mary, you know, Martha who had gone into destruction. You can put the title your name. Always make it very personal. Bible is a very personal book, you know that? It's a very personal book. Put yourself in the shoes of personalities whom you read. Or it could be even cities, objects. Put yourself there. How the faithful city has become a harlot. It was full of justice, righteousness lodged in it, but now murderers. What is your position today? Right? You started it very well, too long ago, or maybe just, you know, few months ago, you were baptized. But do you still have the first love? In that letter Jesus wrote to the church of Ephesus, you have lost your first love. Right? That's what he's saying. How well you started. How faithful you were. How stronger you were. How holy you were. Your ways were completely filled with justice. Right? You walked in the path of righteousness. But today, what is your situation? You have become a murderer. Anything and everything. You have become a grumbled. You have become a gossiper. You have become a backbiter. You, you know, without even thinking twice, you know how to sledge people. You know how to slander people. Right? And you are a very selfish person. 2 Timothy 3, 1-9. Colossians 3, 5-9. Mark 7, 21 to 23. Romans 1, 29 to 32. 6. Romans 6, 13 to 20. Ephesians 4, 31. 1 Timothy 1, 9 and 10. 1 Corinthians 6, 9 and 10. Galatians 5, 17 to 21. You read. You will understand all the sins are being listed here. And many people don't even call these as sinful deeds. Why? Because this is normal thing, brother. If you are a human being, you will go through short temper. You will go through this murmuring, gossiping, this and that. How it is possible, brother? Bible is not a book of impossibility. since it is possible you better make it possible why because you got to become like God if you are not going to become your character doesn't get transformed like God and Jesus you have no place in the kingdom of heaven for sure it's a waste of time you going to church week after week you attending this charismatic prayers month after month waste of time absolutely Matthew 5 48 you will become perfect like God somebody will tell if you read Bible you will become perfect like God no Bible should travel in your life the principles that you learn you should apply in your life, application of these laws and commandments in your life, the word of God should travel in you, only then you can become like Jesus, Jesus said you will become like me and you will become more than me John 14, 12, Jesus said this, I did not say this, correct now, and he will do wonders and miracles more than I have done that's how Paul becomes exemplary role model, you know he was man of God, who got that opportunity to go and meet the saints of God in paradise, and then he was he came down and Jesus himself never got the privilege right that's why he's more than Jesus but of course Jesus nobody can take his seat judgment seat of Christ belongs to him and the intercessor remains as an intercessor because if he intercedes only God will respond because nobody's blood is as sacred as our Lord Jesus blood you know he was not found of a man and woman he was found of the Holy Spirit and his blood is so sacred and holy he is the lamb without blemish no one can take his position but we are able to become like him. Right? And how you your intentions and conscience was so clean and so well, so vivid, so strong. But today you become a murderer man. That's why I gave you so many references. Murder is one of the examples that you will find in 2 Timothy 3 1 to 9. But like that anything you can plug in there. Because in the eyes of God a murderer is no different from a gossiper. A gossiper is no different from a kidnapper. Like that. Every sin is sin. There is no sin of a bigger threshold, medium threshold, smaller threshold. It's man who categorizes. Yeah, pickpocketer. It's okay, boss, you can leave him. But a person who loot the bank and bank robbery, they will catch him. Or forget that, forget that, okay. A person who is taking bribe, they will catch him. But lot of people who speak lies for example politicians So many lies they speak and they win the elections they come they do nothing Did I name anyone No I did not name anyone You know who they are I don have to tell this Correct? No. We all forgive them. But this guy who took bribe, you will judge him. Why? That is a big crime. Who judged? Who is classifying like this? It's men. But according to God, everybody has fallen short of glory. All of us are filthy rags. All our righteous deeds are filthy rags. You may think, oh, I am so righteous. I am so pious. I have got a lot of piety in God. I am so ritual, you know. What is it? I am so punctual in attending church services. I am so traditional, nominal Christian. This, that, that and this. Your all righteous deeds are filthy rags. Filthy rags, you know what it is? Dog dung. It will stink. It's like a garbage. So never have that glory in yourself. That prejudice. You know who I am, brother? God doesn't have to know who you are. You better know who God is. Only then you will become like him. Okay. Well, how you have become? Actually, my time is just running like, you know, galloping horse. Your silver has become dross. Your wine mixed with water. Silver means what you know. You will be refined like silver and gold because you would go through so many difficulties and temptations. God would allow that. Therefore, you grow stronger. You grow real stronger. you know how to face the temptations and resist the devil. James 4.7 All these things, you were very strong. But today, even a simple problem you are not able to handle, you lose your temper very quickly. Short temper and you glory in that. Yeah? I deserve to lose my temper because I know Bible. I am the righteous servant of God and all. If you are righteous servant of God, first thing you will have is patience and calmness. So, test your attitude. Today is your chance, right? You can come back to your senses. Your wine mixed with water. Wine here is compared to the spiritual deeds, right? Or you can call it as the anointing, right? The anointing of the Holy Ghost leads you in the right direction. You will do the right things. But today, there is nothing like that in you. It's mixed with water. You lost your flavor. You lost your anointing. That, you know, two drops of wine mixed in one liter of water. You will never be able to smell wine at all in that. Imagine, one liter of water, two drops of wine. you put in there, you will not feel any difference. But in one liter of wine, you put in two drops of water, you will still smell the, you know, that wine smell very strong. Why? The two drops of water is nothing but difficulty, some temptation that traveled in. It might have got mixed, but then you have not lost the flavor. You have resisted the devil so strong. That's what it means. Okay. Now, your princes or rebellious and companions of thieves, everyone loves brides and follows after rewards they do not defend the fatherless nor does the cause of the widow come before them which means what? you have become one of those and still you call yourself as believer in Christ born again believer in Christ that too and I am a Christian and all that but who are your friends and companions? yeah bunch of sluggards bunch of drunkards and bunch of bribery people who are involved in bribery or bunch of people who is always after this self-righteousness, self-prejudice or what is that, you know, all these things. Lovers of themselves, spend trips. Are you having this companionship with any of these guys or involved in any of these activities? You have gone far away from God and you have been clearly misled by the bunch of unclean spirits that are dwelling in you. Okay. To be very, to be even more straight people may not like it. You are demon possessed. You have a lot of unclean spirits living in you. First of all, cast them out in the name of Jesus. Go, cleanse yourself. Let there be remission of sins. But first of all, you need to acknowledge. For you to acknowledge, you need to discover. It's a process now. And who will help you to discover? Holy Spirit. That's why you got to always stay in connection with the Holy Spirit. And what can help you to connect with the Holy Spirit? The Word of God. The more you stay grounded and rooted in the Word of God, you will never lose that association with the Holy Spirit. You should not. If you are a Christian, you should never lose the association. Holy Spirit, you know, cast me not away from thy presence, O Lord. Right? You know, David, when he got to discover the sin in him, he did not discover. He thought, okay, he's king, he has got authority to kill anyone and all that. Yes, he can do that. But not falling apart and falling away, you know, parting ways with the laws and commandments. According to the law, according to the commandment, you are able to kill a Philistine, you are able to kill your enemy. That is old covenant, don't kill anyone. The new covenant doesn't allow you to kill your brother, all of your brothers and sisters. Nobody is our enemy. But our fight is with the powers of darknesses and the principalities. You understand? Ephesians 6.12. That is old covenant. And I am clarifying, because many people catch this up and they start to fight people and kill people. No, don't do that. King David, yes, according to old covenant person. That too, according to the laws and commandments. But this guy went to a part ways with the laws and commandments and he took his own decision and he killed an innocent blood. And he thought that is not a sin. Yeah. it's my, as a king I can get married to anyone yes you can get married but not killing an innocent blood and you know kind of kidnapping his wife, God said you have sinned clearly, I am unhappy with you I am disappointed with you, whoever you may be and you will be punished yes but God decided not to kill you but kill your son that's how you know God is going to judge people because he is righteous and therefore you, before God judges you, you judge yourself, that's where David failed, that's where, that was the only time he failed right? If he had judged himself God would not have judged him. Because why? He would have gone through repentance. Sorry. After that he had gone through the process of repentance. He said, God I have sinned. My God I have sinned. You deserve to kill me. You deserve to judge me. He said this. But if he had done that before, God would have still forgiven him. Of course he would have judged him. God is righteous. He is not partial. God of partiality. My time is up. Therefore the Lord says, the Lord of hosts the mighty, I am reading from Isaiah chapter 1 verse number 24, the Lord of hosts, the mighty one of Israel, as I will rid myself of my adversary and take vengeance on my enemies, I will turn my hand against you and thoroughly purge away your dross and take away all your alloy Alloy right That alloy you forget for example gold doesn get rusted but then sometimes silver get through this rust It's possible moth and rust shall, you know, linger. You keep a metal for thousand years. It's possible getting rusted because of the climatic changes and all that. Likewise, you don't replace or you don't fill or you don't go through this refueling process, right. every single day, new mercies I give you. Bible says that. Why? It's like, you know, refilling your fuel. For that day, that anointing is good enough helping you to travel through the world. World is filled with difficulties, temptations, problems, troubles, troublemakers. For that day, it's enough. Enough is the trouble for that day, Jesus said in Matthew chapter 6. And to face that battle and to overcome the battle and to resist the devil and to fight against the enemy. For you and me, there is one enemy in common. His name is devil. That's it. anointing is enough only for the 24 hours again the next day morning you should begin with prayer reading the word of god asking god for his leading new mercies new grace new anointing oil because why this day is not like yesterday this day the battle could be even more fierce why because the devil whom you cast yesterday is going to come back with seven more dirty rascals jesus said this you know you you will you can never live in complacency never underestimate the devil you don't have to be frightened you don't have to bite your nails oh what am i going to do today and all that. Don't worry about that. God will take care. Greater is he within you than there is in this world. 1 John 4 says that is not your problem. That is God's problem. He will handle your problem. Don't worry. But then rely on him. Depend on him. Walk according to his statutes. Walk according to his commandments and laws and rules and regulations and instructions given to you. What is the instruction? Every day seek his face. Therefore he will obtain his favor. Proverbs 8.35 says those who shall look into his face, their face shall be like radiance and shame will not cover them. Bible says in NKJV, Psalms 34.5. What is the shame? Situations that may bring disasters, defeats, failures and pull you down, right? And you will be led to shame. You can avoid it. You can prevent it. You can overcome. You can put the devil to shame. But how? The way is like very simple. You got to seek the face of God every single day. Since you have failed to do that, I am going to chastise you. I'm going to cleanse you. Why? Because God still loves you. I'll tell you to whom, I'm going to close in a moment. I'll tell you to whom this verse is applicable. No, you still have the desire to come back to God. But if you are completely living in this complacency, nothing is wrong with me, brother. All is good. Yeah, but I don't know why I'm going through these problems. That is like you are quarreling against God. You're questioning God's judgment and righteousness. I'll tell you what? Such people, God will never make any effort to chastise you and bring you to course correction and all that. Proverbs 6.23, Proverbs 3.11.12, Proverbs 15.10 you read. Those who shall despise the chastisement and corrections of God are the ones who are heading towards death. You are killing yourself. It's like self-sucedure, right? You are killing yourself, right? But then God is not ready to even chastise you. Why? Because how many times he helped you to go through this course correction? you always despise him. No, don't come into my boundaries. God, leave me alone. I enjoy pornography. I enjoy this adult movie. I enjoy this flattering lips. I enjoy this bribery. I enjoy this flirting. Yeah, I enjoy, you know, hurting others and all that. You know, God would say, fine, it's your choice because it's a free will, right? God never forces anyone. It's a free will. You have made the choice to stand by the side of the devil. God says, fine, go ahead, enjoy and then go to hell. that's what it means those who are filthy shall become more filthy those who are unrighteous shall become more unrighteous and go to hell barrels what else will be your destiny tell me you embrace filthy you will be still forgiven you have such a thought in your mind why throne judgment you will somehow get mercy and somehow miraculously you will land up in the kingdom of heaven no way please kill that thought Revelation 21 11 is what I spoke just now you read your bible I am speaking from the word of God nothing else it's not my fairy tales today is your chance if God is there chastising you understand when difficulties strike you you should understand it's from devil or God because many times God will take you and me through course correction these difficulties could be allowed by God and therefore you rush to God and ask him, he will explain you I am very unhappy, disappointed I want to bring that course correction I permitted this sickness therefore you will come back to senses many times he inflicted me with sickness to bring that course correction in me and I would gladly accept it Thank you Lord for inflicting me. Let me go through this pain. And let me come back to my senses. I want to thank you. And I want to appreciate you that you still love me. Although I rejected you, you never rejected me. This is how a righteous person will pray. This is how David prayed. Cast me not away from your presence. And take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Shall we sing that song and close this sermon? Create in me a clean heart, O Lord. And in the right spirit within me, create me a clean heart, O Lord. And in the right spirit within me, cast me not away from thy presence, O Lord. And take not thy Holy Spirit from me, I pray. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation. and in the right spirit within me. Wonderful prayer. May this prayer become reality. May this prayer be everyday's prayer. Every moment you've got to pray. Chastise me, Lord, and bring to thy corrections. May I not become like the forbidden city. May I not become like the city in destruction. But may I always be lively. The temple of God, the dwelling of the Holy Spirit, may it be sustained in me. May that be your prayer. God bless you.
