Hello my dear brothers and sisters, good morning and good evening and a warm welcome to one and all of you. I also greet you in the matchless name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As always I am deeply honored, it's my privilege to be part of these Bible discussions where we pick topics and we convey a lot of facts. We also learn certain principles and we start to apply those principles in our life. So when you start doing that, what happens is there will be transformation of spirit, renewal of mind, Bible says in Romans chapter 12 and verses 1 and 2. And why it's extremely important to be led by the principles and how do you extract these principles is through the laws and commandments that you see in the Bible, right? And there are 613 laws and commandments in the Old Covenant. There are 1050 laws and commandments in the New Covenant. So, having put together these many laws and commandments are written not to make our lives harder, tougher. No. It's to make our life easier. Therefore, we grow a stronger person. You know, we grow strong in faith. We grow strong in hope. We grow strong in, you know, confidence. And that's what Bible says in James chapter 1 verses 2 to 4. count it all joy when God permits certain trials temptations in your lives because you will not allow anything beyond what you can bear. He will always make a way for you to escape 1 Corinthians 10.13 says. Why is because after all this you will be perfect lacking nothing. Bible says that. That's why I gave you those references. That is the very reason why we are consistently doing these sessions. Alright this is a short session and today we will be So discussing from the word of God, Isaiah chapter 32 and verse number 9 all the way to 15. And it's going to be a very, very important discussion. You know what is that? Consequences of complacency. That is the title. Complacency. Many people may not know the meaning or few people may know. Complacent behavior is nothing but you are a compromiser. In other words, in a layman language, you are a person who will easily give up. Right? Somebody comes and threatens you, scares you, oh no, no, no, no, I will not get into that. Or some person will come and confuse you, immediately you will be dropping the ball. Right? For example, you want to begin a house construction, somebody will come and discourage you. Saying that, you know, you know what it is to construct a house, you have to take loan, you have to repay the loan, and it will take a lot of time. There are a lot of builders who cheat people and if you go for a material contract, it will happen like this. If you go for a labor contract, it will happen like this. This and that 20 things they will say and you will listen to all this and that guy, the same fellow will tell you, you know what is easy for you? You can stay in a rented facility. You have no tensions, right? You can keep vacating your houses. You have no problems. That is old covenant because Abraham lived in a tent but when Solomon built the temple, God said that my presence will always dwell in the temple and that is, I am not talking only from the materialism perspective but even from the spiritual perspective, I will come there in a moment same example, I will convert into a spiritual example now what happens is immediately, oh, which is easy for me which is easy for you, saying no to things, cancelling things and living in failure, living in, you know, depression is easy, right? But how to overcome the depression? How to overcome the temptation? And how to still be a winner? See, no one can win things without going through struggles. You understand? See, no pain, no gain. We all understand this proverb for sure. If you want victory, if you want to taste success, only a rough wave can produce a successful sailor. Bible says and also many other proverbs you can understand. Without struggle, there is nothing that you can prove. Without hard work, there is nothing that you can achieve in life. And that is very important for every one of us to understand. And why? Because Bible itself is saying, Revelation 3.21, only overcomers can inherit the throne of God, the kingdom of heaven. They are permitted inside the kingdom of heaven. If you would fail to endure the temptation, Or if you would fail to overcome the temptation, you cannot hold the crown of life. James 1.12 says that. Hebrews 11.6 says that by faith you can be an overcomer and God is the rewarder of faith. Many verses I can show you. Spirit of fear, it's not from God. Spirit of power, love and sound mind is from God. 2 Timothy 1.7 says, why am I telling all this, beloved? The very reason is, we are living in a world where the devil had tuned your mind in such a way, you cannot change things. You know, for example, the political situation. or your government, government of India or US, many things they do which are really keeping people on fire or some unnecessary things or fights or commotions or violences happen But I tell you what just by praying in your home by faith you can change things You can turn the world upside down. It is possible. It is possible. Why? Because God, Jesus said that Matthew 19, 26, with men it is impossible, but with God all things are possible. You need to believe that He is real, He is mighty, He is almighty and therefore He is rewarder of faith. Yeah. Many, many people, many of us, I am talking only about the born again believers who have understood the concept of grace, who have understood the sacrifice on the cross, who have understood the power in the name of Jesus, the resurrection power. 2 Corinthians 5, 1 to 10. 1 Corinthians 6, 9 and 6, 20. Jesus purchased us for a price shedding his blood. Therefore, we are his property. Which means what? We do have the powers of Jesus inherited right inside of us by default. All that you need to do is accept Jesus. That's enough. and believe that your prayers when you kneel down and pray you may sit and pray also no problem but when you pray by faith you can move mountains, you can change things only such people will never fall into this category of complacency or being a compromiser today many of us Christians we look at the promises of God it's something you know superb, you are all excited but when you start thinking that this is unreal How this promise can be fulfilled in my life? If Abraham would have taught that way, Abraham wouldn't have become the father of, you know, the father of, father of Israel, father of the nation. And it's, you know, heaven is the bosom of Abraham. You know, God elevated him really, really high. Why? Because he is the, he is the, he is the champion of faith. Hebrews 11, you take and read, you will get all the champions of faith. Okay. Now, now what is this complacency? we will see what Bible is prescribing. It's important to understand what is Bible talking about this. More than we coming up with our own thoughts and desires. Rise up, you women. Women means not only women, men also. Applicable to both. Rise up, you women who are at ease. Hear my voice, you complicit daughters. Give ear to my speech. Who are at ease. Some people know. Easy going policy. take it easy policy right many people failure take it easy success also know nothing to rejoice it's okay take it easy but most of the times failures they will take it easy you should not take it easy at the same time you don't have to take into your heart and fall into depression i'm not trying to say that either but you need to work on the failure you need to work upon the mistakes to ensure that you don't repeat the same failure in your life to ensure that you don't fall into the same pit again because the devil is capable to you know dig many trenches and pits to ensure that you fall in the trap and you go to hell right and therefore you keep on falling in the pit what happens is sometimes you may fall into a trench because you are used to falling in the pit and you will not find the difference between the pit and a trench and trench will be like 10,000 feet deep takes you straight into the bottomless pit you understand I'm talking about the sinful and talking about, you know, being a compromiser is also a sin. No Christian, believer in Christ, will be walking in the path of compromising things, right? Worldly pleasures, some people call you, you come and sit with us. We will all consume alcohol, but you can take an orange juice. What have you got to do with such people? Do not associate with the worldly people, Bible clearly tells you. You say, no, sorry, you come to my home, let us all have orange juice. That's a different thing, right? Now, you don't be a compromiser. What if I don't go? They'll get offended. Let them get offended. No problem. Some point of time, they will realize how much ever we call, this guy never comes with us. So, they will start thinking. They will start realizing their mistakes. And there is a higher chance they will call you, you know, to their homes instead of calling you to a pub. You understand what I'm saying? I'm just giving you little examples. We all go through these kind of practical problems. Don't take it easy. When things makes you to compromise, when the devil brings you certain pleasures of the world and fools your, blindfolds your eyes, you definitely should wake up. You know, you cannot take things lightly or easily. Because why? You have to settle your accounts before God in the white throne judgment. Your friend will not come. Your wife will not come. Okay. in a year and some days you will be troubled. You complacent women for the vintage will fail. The gathering will not come. Bible is very clear. Okay. In a year and some days. See there are only few evil days that the devil would be targeting Not all days you will face troubles You understand this If all the days you are facing troubles like for example an army soldier who has been planted in the borders to guard India, right? Pakistan is entering inside, Bangladesh is entering inside. They are always terrorists coming inside. They are always guarding. They will always be on the watch. Why? Because that is the instruction given to them. Every single day you should look at it as a day of trouble. But Bible says, also the same but we forget. John 14.1 In this world there are full of troubles. Jesus said that almost every single day you will be the target to the devil. But the devil will fool you that he will allow certain happy days, happy moments and he will completely make you a compromiser. You will start to think, oh, my bad days have come to an end. My evil days are finished. My troubles are nullified. Like that. He will make, he will blindfold you. He will tune your mind that way that you will completely be defocused. You will never be a person who will be on watch, who will be alertful, like how you were in the past, right? That is the difference between us and a normal citizen of India versus an army soldier standing there. Why? Because every day, you go to, every minute, the instruction from his captain is, stay alertful, stay alertful. Otherwise, the enemy can come inside because the enemy is also watching you. From a faraway distance in a binocular or telescope or something like that, he's watching you. and he will be watching you consistently and he will know when you will fall asleep and he is able to send his agent, right? And that is how, you know, India is still a safe country. India is still living in peace. Likewise, if you want to be in peace, you definitely have to look out for the some days, which means what? All days you better be careful. Why are you looking for some days? Always, you don't have to walk in panic or being paranoid looking around, hey, who's going to hit me with stones? Not like that. But you will never be a person who will be so careless. Yeah. And you will always be walking in alert. That's what it means. And the other meaning is for the vintage and will fail and the gathering will come. Right. There are days when you face the troubles. It's going to be a little hard for you to face. There are new troubles, new problems, new troublemakers, new variety of problems and sickness problems in your body. Not all the time you will get a dick. not all the time you will get a problem in the same in the same area of your body sometimes new sicknesses may come so immediately don't be disheartened you know don't lose heart gathering will not come sometimes what you expect will not come therefore what the devil will do see this is why I told you do not trust in Jesus reading Bible praying what happened man you pray all your problems will come to a close watch and pray lest you may enter into temptation you watched and prayed But see, you have gone into temptation. God will allow that also. Although you may watch and pray, how much you trust in God, he will test you. He will test your spirit. Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5, 21 to 23. Right? And it will help you to abstain from every form of evil deeds. Only if you are tested, you will be purer. Right? You will go through the refining process. Then you are going to glitter like a gold. All of you with me. Okay. Tremble, you women, who are at ease. be troubled you complacent once, strip yourselves make yourselves bare and gird sackcloth on your waist right, this is old covenant but I will convert into a new covenant standard therefore you understand tremble you women, tremble you men means you don't have, men or women you don't have to tremble in fear but you got to always walk in wisdom right, tremble in fear that you should not be on the side of the foolish, tremble in fear that you should never be a compromiser, that you should never take things lightly, that you never walk in ignorance, you should never walk in reluctance, you should never be a headstrong person. I know everything. You know how long how many years I've been a born again believer. When somebody, God would send you some pastor or some brother or sister to alert you and you would say that I know everything. Get lost. Headstrong attitude. It's in 2 Timothy 3, 1-9. You've taken three. You understand? Trembling fear that you should not be one of those compromisers. But always walk in the fear of God. Psalms 111.10. Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge. Yeah. Okay. And gird sad cloth on our waist. What does it mean now? Sad cloth is nothing but wearing your spiritual deeds. Like embracing the spiritual deeds. Which means sometimes you have to fast and pray. You need to battle against the demons. And nothing comes for free. Right. In a battle definitely you have to fight. If you don't fight, then you better don't enter into the battleground. You stay away and tell your captain, I'm not well or something and run away from the battlefield. In the battlefield, the enemy will not come and hug and kiss you, right? He's going to come with a weapon to slay your head. And you got to fight back That is the battlefield But our fight is not with the blood and flesh but with the principalities and powers of darknesses Bible says in Ephesians 6 So understand that you don fight with human beings Stop that attitude people shall mount upon their breasts for the pleasant fields for the fruitful wine on the land of my on the land of my people will come up thorns and briars yes on all the happy homes in the joyful city because the palaces will be forsaken i will stop here okay sometimes god permits this thorns and briars which means what there will be dry moments in your day There will be failure after failure for a season, stipulated season. And whatever you do, you will never see success. And whatever you think, it will never happen. God permits that. Why? Because that's how you grow stronger. That's how you will get more thoughts. How to fight against, how to resist the devil, how to overcome the temptation. You will invent new ideas and the Holy Spirit will lead you from the scriptures. And Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4.17, these afflictions are only for a mere moment. They are not going to be allowed for a longer season where you will not be able to survive. 2 Corinthians 4, 17, 18 These are temporary. Understand, every trouble, every problem that you face in your life is temporary and God is able to take that away from your life. Because in that season, He is trying to build you up. He is trying to tune you. Right? He is trying to make you more stronger. Right? It is building a superstructure over the foundation. foundation you are very strong you are a christian born again believer etc but can the foundation remain as a foundation nobody can dwell in the place you got to build a stupor structure 20 floors with all facilities amenities such as you know water facilities kitchen living room dining hall and you know lifts to carry people and all that right only then it is usable and god is able to build you that way not without you know bringing those kind of troubles therefore you grow stronger you are the superstructure for God you need to resist you need overcome because the palaces will be forsaken the what is that the boasting city will be deserted the forts and the towers will become what is say liars forever, a joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks, until the spirit is poured upon us from on high, and then the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted as a forest. What does it mean is, today your trust is on some palaces, some forts, some forts, and some kings and queens, and your boss, and your neighbor, and your wife, and your husband. All this kind of attitude will have to change. you have to unplug your trust upon every single human being and you have to always trust the lord of lords and the king of kings why because whomever you trust the next day morning they may change their mind yeah it'll be you know they will they will lead you into wilderness or you will see that you know they have deserted the place they vacated the place and they are no more i've faced the situation many times in my life whoever had told me that i'm going to help you i will do it for you this and that, they vanish. And I've learned my lessons in hard ways. And Bible says the same. So what makes you to be a compromiser, right? Some of these aspects, like when you depend on a human being, you're compromising in godly standards. You have moved away from the Bible. Bible says in James 4, draw nearer to God and God will draw nearer to you. How do you draw yourself nearer to God? Through his word, through his promises, through his laws and commandments. Therefore, the trust is automatically built in yourself and you are not a compromiser. Right? Compromising in what? Let me try with that human being. If that fails, I will go back to God. What? You are a compromiser. You are a spiritual compromiser. Alright? Okay. I think this session was useful. So, learn to not live in complacency.
