Greetings Classic Cinema TV fans, this is Jason Lockhart here with you once again bringing you another silver screen spotlight. Yeah, today we are looking at some brand new releases just arrived here at Classic Cinema Plus Studios from the good folks at Mill Creek Entertainment. If you enjoy this channel, please do like, share, and subscribe. Please do that. We would appreciate it. And let's jump into it. First off, they have released this I was really excited about. I thought this looked really, really cool. This is called Southern Gospel. All right. See if we can get it without the light shining on it. Southern Gospel. Okay, this is a faith-based film that many people love. Really, really interesting. It's about a 60s rock and roll singer named Samuel Allen who finds himself in jail after years of anger and blame towards organized religion. That has led him down a rebellious road. He has a moment of divine intervention as the judge dismisses drug charges against him under the preference that Samuel will speak to local schools and churches of the danger of drugs. Really interesting. I have not seen this, but this, as a musician, this is, I love those old Southern gospel, I love all music. I love the oldies rock and roll, love the southern gospel, love rhythm and blues, love everything. So, you know, this is going to be pretty cool to see this. I'm looking forward to this. So you got the slipcover same artwork on the inside The only bad part that I will say with this is we don see any bonus features on this Um I would have been nice to see some bonus features uh interviews and different things, but oh, well, uh, a good film is worth it to me anyway. So there you go. Southern gospel. All right. Uh, then, uh, Mill Creek entertainment has also, uh, decided to release this, the event, the TV series. That is pretty awesome. I actually haven't seen this. I remember seeing ads for this and that it was coming on television and I thought about, looks interesting, I'd like to see it and then just pass me by. Yeah, so it's interesting. It's from the executive producer of 24, which is a spectacular series. But this is interesting, five discs and 22 suspense-filled episodes. Um, yeah, as I'm looking at it, it's kind of a conspiracy theory type series about an event that takes place and maybe there's shadowy figures that are behind all this and all. Yeah, it's really interesting. Stars Jason Ritter and Blair Underwood. Love Blair Underwood. He's amazing in anything he does. yeah there's a bonus features of the making of the event featurette dr. Dempsey alternative story that's going to be interesting deleted scenes episode commentaries with creator cast and crew and more so pretty awesome this was a series that only lasted 22 episodes and my fear is this ended in a cliffhanger I hope I wrong Sometimes those cliffhanger endings drive me absolutely crazy I hope not I don know but I wondering if this didn end in a cliffhanger I'll have to find out. But anyway, yeah, so the event on Blu-ray, still going to be interesting to check out anyway. So, yeah, five discs, pretty cool. Okay, so there you go, the event. And then Kaiju fans, Ultraman fans, rejoice. We are on to another Ultraman release. This one is pretty amazing. And check this out, this one. New Ultraman release for those fans of Ultraman. This is pretty awesome. Look at this. 16 episodes of Ultraman. We're talking Ultraman, Ultraman 80, Ultraman Max, Ultraman X, so many of them, right? And just collected of all kinds of the kaiju battles. So awesome. That is pretty cool. Look at that. You look at the discs, red discs. Love that red, red kaiju. Yeah. Red King. Pretty awesome. Look at this. This is what makes this pretty cool, though. Sixteen episodes. Love this slipcover, though. That slipcover is just amazing, as you can see. Pretty cool. Love that. And then, like I said, there you go. There. And like that. Pretty awesome. but what is included is a pretty awesome little booklet featuring all kinds of stuff about Ultraman the Kaiju battles pretty cool stuff we get still shots of all the different Kaiju battles pretty amazing things yeah at that That is so cool That is so cool. Look at that. That is so awesome. So cool. Wow. Just amazing stuff. Just amazing. Yeah. Wow. The Complete Classic series, of course, is on Blu-ray in its entirety. You can see there. And those are really, really cool. If you are looking for something that's going to be awesome on the shelf, that's just going to look like a mural when you have it on the shelf, the Complete series is pretty cool. You can see right there it makes like a mural. You can see it right there. Okay. when you have it together. It is pretty awesome. But this is pretty cool. I love this.
