Greetings, Classic Cinema TV fans. This is Jason here with you once again bringing you another Flashback Friday. And we are decked out today. Superman shirt. Superman hat. Because we're talking about superheroes today. Yes, we're talking about a team of superheroes. A team of teen superheroes. We're talking about a brand new release from Warner Brothers. We're talking about the complete TV series of Titans on Blu-ray. My goodness, this is going to be fun. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe, and let's jump into this. This is interesting because Teen Titans is one of my favorites. I grew up with the TV series Teen Titans. Okay. This series was so cool. I loved the theme song of Teen Titans. I absolutely loved it. There are two songs that are on my phone as my ringtone. It kind of flips back and forth. Two of my favorite superhero TV shows of all time. Number one is Teen Titans. The other one is Save Me from Smallville. Those are my two favorites. I have those on there. I flip back and forth all the time because those are my two favorite theme songs of all time. So I'm continuously switching back and forth on my phone to that. So if somebody ever gets me in the store or something and then my phone rings, they're hearing one of those. And I don't know what anybody feels about that, but hey, It doesn't matter. I like it. But yeah, I grew up on Teen Titans and I love that theme song. Oh, it was so cool. This series from Warner Archive is so cool. This, they released the whole complete TV series on Blu-ray and it was so amazing and so awesome to see this all on Blu-ray to get the whole series. I mean, think about that. You got all the whole series of Teen Titans on Blu and then all five seasons And then you had the complete movie as well which is Trouble in Tokyo They put every bit of Teen Titans in this set and I going to be telling you something This is absolutely one of my favorite things that Warner Archive ever did. I love it. And they did some amazing things. They've done the Justice League. They've done classic cartoons. They've done the Legion of Superheroes. They've done all kinds of different things. They've released the Jetsons. So much animation, but I really believe this is my absolute favorite one that they've done because of the theme song. I love that theme song. There are times I will find myself just singing that theme song in my head or singing it around when I'm around the house. I won't do it on here because I'll get flagged for that. So I'm not going to say it. But anyway, I love this series. It is truly one of my favorites. And it's just about Starfire and Raven and Cyborg and Beast Boy and Robin as they are friends and are fighting crime and all this type of stuff. I mean, it's just so cool. One of my favorite cartoon series of all time, superhero-wise anyway. And I just love it. So Warner Archive did release that, and that was so cool. But to me, to see this coming out is just amazing. Now, I have not seen this series. I saw the trailers and the teasers and the different things, and I always wanted to check it out, but I just never found the time. And it got completely away from me. Before I knew it, the whole series was over. Oh, okay. So I was like, well, maybe we'll pick it up on physical media. Well, I don't have to now. Good folks at Ally Vaughn have sent this to us to review, and I am so excited about it. It is so awesome. Titans, the TV series. All right. Interesting. It says, Titans explore and celebrates one of the most popular comic book teams ever, a group of young, soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC universe. In this action series Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of the fearless band of new heroes including Starfire and Raven and many others All right so Titans is an adult series okay This is not made like Teen Titans. Teen Titans was made for kids, okay? This is not made for kids. I know that. I've checked it out online. I've checked the parents' guide and stuff. There is a pretty good chunk of profanity. There is some adult situation, some violence, some all kinds of, so there is some stuff that's, so this is not for the kids, by no means. We have seen this with DC and Warner Brothers as they have been releasing stuff like Pennyworth and Swamp Thing and Doom and different ones like that there that are more set for adults, okay? And that's what Teen Titans, or Titans is. It's made for adults. Now, I think the reason they didn't go with Teen Titans is because it's not for teens. And that's why they just put it as Titans, to stave away all the teenagers and the young people, because it's like, this is not for you. This is Titans. I don't know how I feel about it. But I kind of would have liked to have seen a more live-action version of Teen Titans. I think that would have been a lot more fun. I don't know, but I'm staving off my bad thoughts after I get through it. If I still feel that way afterwards, then I'll give an honest review. But anyway, of how it is and how bad it is. If it's not, then I'll give it a great review. We'll just have to wait and see. But anyway, Titans was four seasons. You had the purple discs that separate. I like the way they separate the seasons by different colors. I think that's cool. Purple season one, blue season two, orange season three, and red season four. Pretty cool. In addition to all four seasons, you get 90 minutes of bonus features. My goodness, that is pretty epic. Um yeah so I looking forward to checking it out Um I hoping that there is a lot of fun in this series Uh my favorite was of course Beast Boy I loved Beast Boy in the Teen Titans series That was my favorite I enjoyed his really wry and really offbeat sense of humor. I enjoyed that so much. I kind of hope we get that in this. I don't know. I just have to wait and see. But I'm looking forward to checking it out. It looks like, from the trailers and the teasers that I've seen. It looks like a pretty good series, like a real fun series. So we'll see. We'll see. But pretty awesome. There you go. Titans.
