Praise the Lord, my dear brothers and sisters. A warm welcome to one and all of you. And I greet you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As always, we feel very, very privileged and happy to be part of these sessions. And why these sessions are very important is the simple reason is we all need to learn the Word of God. We all need to know the Word of God is very, very important. Why? Because the word of God is the healing balm and the medicine to our flesh and the healing balm to our bones. Bible says in Proverbs 3.8 and Proverbs 4.22. The reason why we are having these kind of short sessions or short videos rather is because to help the mankind cover, especially the Christians, the believers in Christ cover the topics in a short span of time. But no, no, I am a fan of a detailed Bible teaching. Of course, you are welcome because that is our prime ministry. The very reason and purpose for our ministry is to get into a detailed Bible teaching. All right. today's meditation will be taken from the gospel of Ezekiel chapter 34 verses 1 to 10 and the title of this message will be or is taken from the NKJV version itself I did not give this title the title comes from God himself Irresponsible Shepherds it's a very strong annotation, it's a very strong emphasis that has been given to this title and irresponsible a lot of people when they go mad at somebody, when they are really angry you know, you are very irresponsible, they also use all sorts of bad words, but we are ignoring that let's neglect the bad words, being Christians please do not use bad words from your mouth irresponsible people are irresponsible shepherds, irresponsible pastors, irresponsible leaders, irresponsible politicians, irresponsible government officers, irresponsible husband, irresponsible wife, irresponsible parents, irresponsible children. You can go on and on. The list really becomes wide and big and bigger. Correct? Ultimately, the one single point or which is common, regardless of the nature of the people or relationship that we are having. There is one term that has been connected, right? Prefixed. Irresponsible. What is irresponsibility? Let us spend a minute or two. You have been assigned of a task. You have been trusted and given a job by your employer or by your own wife or own husband or your children listening to me. You are responsible to study and score good marks. Therefore, you not only make your parents proud, but it is for your welfare. It is for your goodness. Parents are really working hard and they are spending money. So what is your responsibility? To study well and score marks. But of course, you can really play, you can really get into extracurriculars, such as, you know, you are interested in music and all that. Your parents, I don't think they stop you. Likewise, parents do not provoke your children to anger. Yeah, it's written in Ephesians chapter 6 and all of us should understand that. Don't keep on kindling the child, you know, did you study and why are you playing and all that. Allow him the time and agree with the children. All of us are responsible to fulfill our tasks that have been given into you. Likewise, an employer trusts you and they roll out an offer letter believing. Of course, you clear the interview. But then you have made a lot of promises. the moment you get an offer letter your behavior changes your attitude changes you have taken this employer for granted and you are not working very well as much as you have shown that sincerity and interest and enthusiasm during that interview you have not performed in the company and ultimately the good thing about private industry private corporates is they have an appraisal system every six months they evaluate your performance and all that you are not good they will throw you out but how about government officers our How about government people? Of course, they don't have appraisal system. That's why you will see most of them, they take the citizens for granted. Anyone getting into a government office, you definitely know what is the struggle. Not saying all are bad. There are very good government officers whom I know personally. Even if you offer a bribe, they don't take a bribe. Right? But they really work from their heart. Wonderful people. But I could really, you know, tell them 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 people in my entire lifespan. Why? Because the rest are irresponsible. Yeah. It is the salary they are getting is from the normal, a common man's tax. Right. Should you not be responsible to that common man's tax who is actually paying for your salary and give them the best service that they deserve? No, they don't. They behave like Maharajas and whatever. Irresponsible. Likewise irresponsible citizens while you drive your vehicle you don follow the rules You spit in the middle of the road Right You know one person almost spit on my face Or people who are traveling in the bus they don look down whether there is a car coming or not You know, they spit. Irresponsible citizens. Yeah. Ugly habit anyway, right? Like, lot of us can talk many things about irresponsibility. Here, Bible is talking about irresponsible shepherds. Why is that? irresponsible shepherd as a title given in the bible because now i'm coming to the christians right this is partly a motivational partly a christian teaching right or a doctrine from the bible no religious teaching here we are not here to convict anyone we are talking through the various principles of life so far whatever i have spoken you have agreed no because i spoke from a very social point of view and all that. Now the moment I plug in God and Jesus and Christian teaching and doctrine from the Bible, immediately people will get offended. Please stay tuned, unbelievers listening to me. You need not be a Christian, but I am talking through the facts that are important for anyone's life. So here the Bible calls the Christians, the followers in Christ as shepherds. Other meaning for shepherd is being a leader. Any Christian that is born again in spirit is definitely a leader in the eyes of God. Jesus was a true leader. Wherever he went, he had exercised a lot of leadership qualities. He knows how to control the crowd. He knows how to talk for three days and three nights and ensure that the people listen to them. What a leadership quality. And he is a leader who knows when to feast with his disciples. He is a leader when he knows when to isolate himself and fast and pray. He is a leader who need not even sleep for two days continuously and be in the social service, you know, serving the mankind. At the same time, he is a leader who can spend time in rest in the boat, even during his Tommy situation. Likewise, you can exercise a lot of leadership qualities. Today, people think leadership quality means it's all about controlling the crowd. You need 10 people under you, then only you are a leader. No, no. As an individual also you can exercise the leadership quality nothing wrong right you can be still a single person but you so what is the important quality of a leader is he brings changes he makes the impossible possible for which you need not need 20 people sometimes you will start be the change who you want to be madma gandhiji said yeah madma gandhiji didn't have a big crowd behind him father of indian nation but the crowd followed him when they understood that principle when they understood the power in the doctrine, power in his philosophy, power in his, you know, the approach. Yeah, that's how the leaders are growing with people. It's not that they start something when they, only when they have a big crowd. No. When coming to the Bible perspective, if you talk, all of us who have, you know, seen this Jesus Christ or Lord will definitely be the leader. Now, what kind of leader or what kind of shepherd, in other words, Bible expects is you go to lead people towards light. You must be a blessing to the world. You must be blessing to the poor, the downtrodden, the needy, the orphans, the widows, those that are really lacking in confidence, those that are in depression, those that are deprived, those that are demoralized, those that have lost hope. You are the hope to the hopeless. You are the light to those that are in darkness. You are the one who will lead others who are in the sinful deeds that are not able to overcome. You will be the source of encouragement. You will be the source of motivation. Now you understood the definition of shepherd and leader. Leader is encompassed within this important terminology called a shepherd. Being a shepherd is an important responsibility and it is a must needed responsibility for every mankind. If you are a believer in Christ, it is a definite ask from God. It's not a choice that you can make. No. Mandatory. It's mandatory for every Christian to be leaders and shepherds doing good to the mankind, serving the mankind, helping the mankind, reaching out to the mankind, mentoring the mankind, guiding the mankind, regardless of religion, regardless of gender, community, does not matter. All of the mankind are our brothers and sisters. Only thing, yes, you will not fall into their principles. You will not pay attention to their gods and goddesses. You will stick to the Bible because God is one, understand. but you need to pick the right God who left behind the right doctrines who came to this world in the form of human being his name is Jesus Christ and this book the Bible that we are talking here is the book of evidence this historical book it's not the you know book of tales book of fables that's why this book is so unique and special and it's written by God Ezekiel chapter 34 verses 1 to 10 I'm going to read for you I'm going to close in another 4-5 minutes Now if I read you will understand. And the word of the Lord came to me saying, Son of man, prophecy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophecy and say to them, against, which means they are not doing something right. Thus says the Lord God to the shepherds what to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves should not the shepherds feed the flocks you know feed themselves just now i told you right a leader will never live for himself a leader will always have the serving attitude there is a concept called the servant leadership in corporate industry but if you look at attitude of your managers directors and so many people who are in the higher ups especially in the management channel you will never see this kind of humility You will never see this kind of serving attitude. In my experience, I could number, I'm not saying never. There are very few people, but most of the times you will not discover. Servant leadership is a very good concept which many managers have failed to embrace. That's why employees under them are very frustrated. They go under depression. They are not getting the best of the mentorship. They are not getting the best of the guidance. Similarly, we being Christians have really failed not to influence the world, not to convict the world, but to share this good news from the Bible that takes them towards the life of salvation. What is this life of salvation? People that are in depression will embrace this life in peace, life in clarity, life in light, life in joy, life in happiness. People, person who was in depression, you will see he lacks in all of these. So when he gets into the life of salvation through the name of Jesus, he gets this free anointing of the Holy Ghost. And the anointing of the Holy Ghost will change the nature of a person. The moment we get into this line, immediately people will back off. No, this guy is talking about a religion. No, we are not talking about religion. Jesus never came to introduce Christianity. Show me any evidence that Jesus started a religion called Christianity. Christianity, any of you listening to me, do you know when Christianity as a name came into picture during the first century, right? During the first century, it came. Why? Because Christians were tortured and harassed and killed by the Roman emperor Nero and many other emperors, many other kings, they killed them. Therefore, they had a secret name called as Christians. In Antioch, it happened. Acts chapter 11, verse 26. after that for three centuries christian christianity itself was actually termed as a terrorism organization or a anti kind of organization nobody recognized the moment they find out you are christian they will throw you into lion's den only in 33 337 a.d after jesus passed away king constantine commemorated this religion mixing paganism with christianity and Roman Catholics were emerging. So, this is big history. Therefore, don't call out the name of Jesus and couple it with the religion called as Christianity. Jesus never came for a religion, but Jesus came for the mankind because he loved everyone. He died for everyone. The difference is whether you accept him or not, whether you have followed his principles or not, that's it. Whether you follow or not, he still loves you. I still love you because why I am a believer in Christ and therefore I love everyone. Okay. This is how the attitude of a leader works. He will not be a religious leader. Christians come to the left, unbelievers go to the right, not like that. All of us are equal under the throne of grace. And you eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool. You slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock, which means what? You don't have the serving attitude or sharing attitude. Two important terminologies. If you are a true leader, if you are a true shepherd in Christ, where you love the mankind, you will have the sharing attitude, you will have the caring attitude, you will also have the, you know, serving attitude. Sharing, caring, serving. Sharing, caring, serving. if you do all this this world will call you you are the biggest fool you are a loser some people will even call you you are a liar because why? they can't believe that is the truth no mankind can react this way it's impossible yes you and I can react that way why? because our Jesus was a person who always served the mankind who cared for the mankind who was always sharing everything that he had the goodness he brought from heaven he shared with everyone the weak you have not strengthened nor have you healed those who were sick but bound of the broken nor brought back what was driven away nor sought what was lost but with force and cruelty you have ruled them you have not really gone after the lost, the deprived, the hopeless I told you I gave you a big list of things you are always looking after yourselves Instead, you started pressing people. There are a lot of churches who really press and take away the tithes. Where is my tithe? The guy would have lost his job. He's jobless. I know people who have taken loan and given tithes to the church. It's a crime. I'll tell you. It's like looting money through your own way and methods, which is not in the Bible. And if you are such a stupid person who is taking loan and paying tithes while you have no job, you are in deception and you deserve to be deceived because why you have not read the Bible you have allowed the deceiver to deceive you and whose fault is it answer this question my dear brother my sister it your fault okay verse number 5 so they were scattered because there was no shepherd and they become food for all the beasts of the field When they were scattered, the devil is able to devour them. They have become the food for the beast. Beast is nothing but the devil. My sheep wandered through all the mountains and on every hill. Yes, my flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth. and no one was seeking or searching for them. These days, a lot of the Christian leaders and pastors and all that, they're only caring about their church, my member, come and all that. No, sorry. That's not the concept of Christianity. You've got to reach out to other churches. Ask them whether you need any help. Very few pastors, they do this, but not all. Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord. Now listen to me carefully. 8, 9, 10. I'm reading and closing. As I live, says the Lord God, surely because my flock became a prey and my flock became food for every beast of the field, which is talking about a large community of people who are unbelievers. They have gone astray. They have rejected Jesus. And God is going to blame a person like you and me. You have failed to share the word of God. You have failed to pray for the nation, pray for the unbelievers. because there was no shepherd nor did my shepherds search for my flock but the shepherds feed themselves and did not feed my flock feeding my flock in the sense in today's world the law of the land itself tells that if you are going to force somebody into this religious doctrines or preaching or teaching it's a conviction but of course you can run a channel like this you can write books right and you can really you know leave it to people whether you want you come If you don't want, you please reject it. Because it's a democratic world and you have that advantage. Imagine a communist country. If you do this, you will be jailed. There is no free platform or something like this. Democracy, please take advantage. Not to convict people, but to help them understand the truth. Because why you care for them? Therefore, O shepherd, hear the word of the Lord. Verse number 10, we read and we close. Thus says the Lord God, Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require my flock at their hand. I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep and the shepherd shall feed themselves no more. For I will deliver my flock from their mouths that they may no longer be food for them. Talking about two different types of wicked shepherds. One of them looting money, I told you. A lot of cultic speakers and teachers and false prophets and false teachers have evolved in splendid measures. People are getting into deception. I would say it is the problem with the people and not with the leaders. They are doing their job, working with the devil and the demons. What are you doing? You need to read Bible. You need to be baptized. You need to have the anointing of the Holy Ghost. You need to ask for wisdom, spirit of wisdom, spirit of discernment and knowledge from God. And the other type of shepherds are they are good people, but they don't have the care for the world. Care for the deprived, care for the lost. Who are the lost sheep? Non-Christians are the lost sheep. You really need to pray for them. If you are scared to go and tell them anything, pray for them and God will definitely take care of them. He knows how to really deliver a person from bondage. Alright. I think with that we close the session. Today, if you are a Christian, if you are a believer in Christ, you definitely have to have the sharing, caring, serving. These three nature. If you are a, if unbelievers listening to me, you know, this is not something that we are trying to convict somebody. But then we are trying to give you the visibility as what happens in that life after death. If you fail to walk in this life of salvation, he's the way, the life and the truth that Jesus said this. And every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is the Lord because he shed his blood for you and me. Right. That's why I told you he never came to create any religion. He came to save the mankind. Therefore, you are responsible for your soul. Right. But then if you are a Christian, you are responsible for your soul and other souls. and God will require an account if you have failed to pray for the nation, if you have failed to pray for the people, if you have failed to share the word of God, when there is an opportunity, an unbeliever coming and telling you, I am in sickness for such a long time, my wife is struggling and this and that, you can always say that, can I pray for you? Can I pray for a minute? Everybody will respect that. Start that prayer and sow that seed and God will take care. God will do a miracle. He is able to do that miracle. God bless you. Take care.
