Thank you. Praise the Lord. Welcome to this series titled Miracles from the Bible. I am Dr. Johnson Sirian. I will be reading a passage from Mark chapter 1, verse 40 onwards. Now a leper came to him, imploring him, kneeling down to him and saying to him, If you are willing, you can make me clean. Then Jesus moved with compassion, stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him, I am willing, be cleansed. As soon as he had spoken immediately, the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. Verses 40 to 42 from Mark chapter 1. Jesus healed many people because of the compassion he had on them. Now this leper was an outcast. He is not supposed to come into the community and mingle with other people. They are forbidden to come into the community. They have to stay away from the other people and there are certain rules that they have to follow. but we see this man taking a risk and coming to Jesus maybe other people would have punished him for what he was doing but he was willing to take the risk he comes to Jesus and he implores him kneeling down to Jesus and saying to him if you are willing you can make me clean and Jesus was filled with compassion and he said I am willing be cleansed praise the Lord Jesus is full of compassion He loves you and he loves me because he laid down his life for our sakes. That's why we have eternal life through Jesus Christ. God the Father loves us and that's why he sent Jesus to the cross. And here is Jesus showing his compassion to this man who is an outcast. He's a leper. But Jesus was willing to heal him. I am willing, be cleansed. As soon as he had spoken immediately, the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. A few words or a single word from Jesus can bring healing into our lives too. This man was an outcast. No one cared for him, but Jesus still cared for him. So if you are going through a troublesome situation and you feel that no one is caring for you, put your trust in Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. He cares for you. and he says come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest Jesus is always willing to hear your prayers and show compassion to you he wants to give you salvation and eternal life and also he wants to help you in all the problems that you are going through in this life of yours so put your trust in Jesus because he is full of compassion praise the Lord Thank you.
