Music The word that I bring you today is titled, Did God say little sins are okay? Well, not too long ago, I heard a pastor who has been in the church for over 40 years say, now, I'm not one of these people that believes that when God shows up and you've got some little thing that you haven't squared away with him yet, that you'll end up in hell. God is more merciful than that, he says. He's bigger than that. He's already forgiven you of your sins. It would be better that you'd be found taking care of his servants, not found beating them, but better being kind to them. Dear Church, when these words were spoken, I felt the pang or the sting of an arrow hit my heart, and I heard the words air echoing in my ears. The statement would be an easy one to let pass or miss in discerning because it finishes with and it ends with something noble in its works. The pastor ended by saying it would be better that you would be found taking care of his servants, not found beating them, but better being kind to them. You see, the latter cannot happen until the former is remedied. We cannot be found taking care of God's servants if we do not have the love of our Savior in our hearts. to be taking care of the necessary and vital effort in putting sin to death in our members. The pastor said, even though you presently have sin in your life, even though it was a little thing, your sin is forgiven. I take issue with that. And I say, all sin is not forgiven. You see, until sin is repented of, it is not forgiven. When you came to Christ and you truly and deeply repented of your sins, seeking and asking God's forgiveness, it was then that you were forgiven of sins of the past transgressions against him at that time. Any and all sins since that time needs to be dealt with, regardless of whether or not they are large or small. Beloved Apostle says in 1 John 2.1. 1 John 2.1, please. My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense, Jesus Christ, the righteous one. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins. And not only for ours, but for the sins of the whole world. In this verse, John is making effort to dissuade or convince the young converts that there is no room for any kind of sin, how be it large or small, we call it. He is saying, make no room for any kind of sin in your life. In other words, kill it and mortify it if you know it is there. Overcome and put it to death. It's like stepping on the neck or the head of the enemy when you take authority over it with the help of precious Holy Spirit. John is writing to the young babes in Christ in this address. not to season Christians who should have a deep grip and understanding of sin and its deadliness, no matter how large or small they may call it. John Bunyan, author of Pilgrim's Progress, wrote, No sin against God can be little, because it is against the great God of heaven and earth. If a sinner can discover a little God, then it may be easy to realize little sins. In other words, people who coddle little sins serve a little God who doesn't mind. Charles Spurgeon says, I have never been able to believe in a little hell because I cannot find it in the Bible. I cannot find any trace of a little heaven or of a little Savior or of a little sin or of a little God. He said, I believe in a theology that is drawn to scale. Hallelujah. And Matthew Henry said, Our sins ought to appear greater to us than the same sins in others, which charity or love teaches us to call but a splinter in our brother's eye. But true repentance and godly sorrow will teach us to call it a beam in our own eye. The sins of others must be lessened or excused, but ours must be an affront and an offense to us and must drive us to our knees. Dear Saint, only repented sin is worthy of receiving pardon. God is faithful and just to forgive our sins, if, hear this, if we are truly sorry. Apostle John was writing, as I said to the little children in 1 John 2.1, when he said, My dear children, I write this to you so you will not sin. And if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense, Jesus Christ, the righteous one. Well, this is saying that though your sins, if properly repented of, will be forgiven by Jesus Christ, the righteous one. Yet John says, I encourage you not to keep on sinning, dear children. And continuing on in verse five, beloved apostle John says, this is the message which we have heard from him and declare to you, that God is light and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. Verse 7, but if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, cleanses us from all sin. He didn't say from big sin and little sin. He said from all sin. You see, when we live in the light, we live in the truth of God's word. And by living in the light, we cannot have fellowship with the darkness. We cannot claim to be in fellowship with God if we continue to live in the darkness and the falsehood of sin. We'll not even adjust or appease ourselves to say a little sin is okay or that God will overlook it. And besides that, when anyone makes a statement that God will look the other way because he's more merciful than that, or will not send us to hell, and that this present sin we adjust or accommodate ourselves with is already forgiven, I wonder what a person like this considers a little sin since he has already adjusted himself to live with it. While the blood of Jesus Christ will cleanse us from all sin that has been truly repented of, he will not cleanse us of even one excuse to justify or to pet it. and we should want and desire with all of our hearts to be free of all sin. Sin should never characterize, mark, or distinguish a Christian life. It should be quite the opposite. And it is interesting when I hear someone speaking and they've qualified what they are going to say by saying, in my 30 to 40 years in the church, it's almost like they are subtly saying, because I've been in the church for all of these years, I should have your undivided attention, and you should believe everything that I am going to present to you. Many, including pastors and other leaders, feel that because they've been in the church for many years, or because they've earned a title from a school of theology or a seminary, they feel licensed to add to the gospel, and some even speak a gospel of their own. Many feel because they hold these licenses or certificates, they are now spiritually sound and fully developed as sons of God. And now, whatever they say, you ought to believe it, hook, line, and sinker. Pride begins to dictate and makes judgments about what God will and will not do, such as if you have a little sin when God shows up, you will not end up in hell, because he's bigger and more merciful than that. And besides, he's already forgiven you of your sins. Since there's no such thing as little sin, then that means that when one harbors known sin in their lives and excuses it and deceptively believe God is merciful and will not pass them by in the day of their judgment and stubbornly storing up God's wrath against themselves on that day. Listen to what Romans 2.5 declares. Romans 2.5 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. This word is saying to refuse to obey the truth and remain with known sin in your life means that God will manifest his righteous indignation on all who are obstinately disputing against the truth and moreover teach a lie which is air. God is a righteous God, and he hates all sin, and all who act under the influence of the principle of sin and not under the influence of the Spirit of God violate his upright and holy commands, which declare, Be ye holy as I am holy. The object of God's frowns and the reasons he would turn his eyes away from people like this is because they do not willingly obey the truth. Woe to him the word says who quarrels with his maker Woe to him You see Jesus Christ has made all provision for you to overcome any and all sin precious ones Holy Spirit, precious Holy Spirit, was given to all true blood-bought, blood-washed children of God. He was given for several purposes. but one of the main reasons is that he is very adept at convincing sinners of their sins and he gives a witness to your spirit and soul that what you are doing in the way of sinful practices are not okay with him and he gives you the opportunity and divine ability to overcome that sinful practice. His aim is to present a spotless bride to your master, Jesus Christ, one day very soon. You see, to strive and rebel against the spirit of light, the spirit of truth, and hold fast to any sinful practice because it is comfortable, like a comfortable old friend. and it's called disobedience. Disobedience to the truth and you remain a slave of unrighteousness. God wants us to be servants of the truth, not servants of air or heresy and any other lying practice which opposes the truth. And to oppose the light means that you will stay in the dark with your sin and you will remain blind. Bats live in the dark and bats are blind. They have keen sensors and they maneuver around in the dark by way of these sensors. But dear ones, you were not created to be like a bat flying around in the dark by means of sensing your way through it. Neither was I. You were divinely equipped with the spirit of the living God who opens up blind eyes and gives you supernatural discernment to know right from wrong. And he teaches you to hate every evil and sinful thing and every sinful practice. Jesus said in John 9, verse 39, Jesus said, For judgment I have come into the world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may be made blind. And some of the Pharisees who were with him heard these words and said to him, Are we blind also? So, verse 41, Jesus said to them, if you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, we see, therefore your sin remains. Jesus says, if you were blind, you would not have sin. But because you say, we see, therefore your sin remains with you. And this is saying, if you were really blind and had no opportunities of learning the truth, or if you were truly ignorant and were willing to confess it and come to me for instruction and guidance, then you would not be guilty of your sin. Jesus said if this were the case, you would not be guilty. You see, sin is measured by the capacities or the ability of people and by their opportunities of knowing the truth. remote places in the world which have not yet been reached with the gospel holds that these are not guilty of something that they do not know god still says that he witnesses himself to them through his creation and also by means of his spirit to know right from wrong he's plugged that in every living creature however they still remain without certain ability to know his word. So this is saying if people had no ability to do the will of God, they could incur no blame. They are judged on what they know and what they did with what they know. But if you have had all the opportunity and the knowledge of God's word and the capability to apply it, but yet have no proclivity or inclination to apply it and live it, then God will judge you guilty and his judgment awaits you. And what we have just heard in light of Jesus' words to the Pharisees who confronted him on that day and said, So, Master, are we blind also? And Jesus says to them, again, in verse 41, If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, we see. So therefore, your sin remains. You see, when any man or woman stands before the pulpit or stands in any teaching position and says something so contrary to the truth and gives people license to hold, to harbor and pet their sinful practices, Jesus holds them accountable and calls this error. Let me pause here to define the term error in light of biblical terminology. Error, first of all, dear church, is not a simple or an innocent mistake. Error is defined by Nelson's Bible Dictionary as a deviation away from the truth. It is an accepted code of behavior. It is straying off the path. It is translated as deception or deceit because it wanders away from the truth. It is more than incorrect thinking. It is a wrong way of life. It opposed the truth of God's law and his ways. so when leadership in the church take it upon themselves to determine according to their own mental assent and self-deceptive practices as to what is proper and right but is seen as air and a path away from God's truth then they stand to be judged severely one day not only for preaching the lie, but also for taking many down that same destructive road or path with them. Now, God holds people like this to be guilty. This passage that Jesus is delivering to the Pharisees is saying that he holds them to be guilty. And blind people, such as the blind man that he delivered from his physical blindness, could not see his master until his eyes were open and he gazed upon his master's face a few days after he was healed. He was looking face to face with Jesus and he fell to his knees before Jesus and he said, Oh Lord, I believe. And now he was accountable to remain true and steadfast to his Savior after this time. But the Pharisees were condemned because they refused to believe the truth that Jesus was the Messiah. They held the truth in their hands through the written word, and they taught the truth about the Messiah coming. And all of the prophecies and all of the signs that would reveal the Master's coming had unfolded right before their eyes in the three and a half years that Jesus was with them. But they refused to believe the truth. Their pride and their self-confidence were the sources of their condemnation. Jesus condemned them. And if people are condemned, it is because they, not God, is to blame. Dear one, if you have the knowledge of God's law and his mandates in how you will live according to them, and you pretend when you profess to understand these and act contrarily to them and teach or profess or condone sinful practices, you are guilty and your sin remains unpardoned. Just like the Pharisees, their sin was unpardoned while they continued to be proud and self-sufficient and confident in their own wisdom. If they could have come with humble hearts and confessed their ignorance, God would have forgiven them. He would have enlightened them and guided them on the straight and narrow path right into the very gates of heaven. And just like the Pharisees then, we have many Pharisees today who teach and confess and live another life behind the pulpit or even as members in the church of the living God today. God says he will lay a stumbling block in the path of these kinds of people who put stumbling blocks in other people's paths. Many leaders who are guilty of teaching error and heresy might not feel the brunt of the judgment that is to come. But it is sure as the changing seasons and the rotation of the earth on its axis that God sends warning after warning to these kinds of people. But the day of judgment is coming upon them. It is sure to come upon them. My husband, Lee, had a dream just a few days ago. And in this particular dream, God was showing him a large camp meeting. Lee saw hundreds of many old motorhomes and old, old automobiles. The outbuildings at the camp meetings were painted white, and all the walls on the inside were painted white, and the chairs were white, but they were all made of plastic, even the ones on the platform. Even the equipment, including the microphones, were old, like the 1950s through the 1970s. There was an older man on the platform who has been in the news off and on over the past years for making proclamations of the return of Jesus Christ. and every time he has said Jesus told him that he was coming on such and such a date, he's been proven wrong time after time. He had an old microphone that blocked his mouth from being seen. And through the years, this man has proven himself to be a false prophet. Do we overlook his heir because he is now elderly? He invited another man to speak at this camp meeting with him, who is well known all over the world for his healing ministry. Lee says, I saw another building of the camp that seemed to be a cafeteria. There were a few small refrigerators in which food was stored. I looked inside and I saw only a few plastic bottles of water. On the top rack of the refrigerator I saw trays that held old stale food in small packets that were wrapped in saran wrap. He said, I thought within the dream, so little food and water for so many people. he said he saw a deacon walk by with a suspicious look on his face and suddenly the meeting was over and all of the people streamed out to get into their automobiles and their motorhomes and they drove away all there were so very old and they looked worn out Visiting Evangelist had an old motorhome that was pieced and cobbled together and it was like an old motorhome but it was converted by taking a truck and a trailer and welding them together with all types of circus characters and colors that were ostentatious or flashy and flamboyant. I saw colors that were yellow, red, orange, and purple colors. All was dilapidated and old. So what is this dream saying, dear church, and why even bother with it? Well, it speaks volumes, and it fits into making my point here and regarding the old, blind, showy, prideful, self-deceived to lead and speak to multitudes and mix truth with air when it comes to God's word. The word thesis means truth. The word antithesis means untruth. And the word synthesis means that you take truth and untruths and mix them. In God's business, this means that people who do this create and teach heresy and err, and because of this, it wreaks havoc in the souls of the redeemed, and God hates it with a burning passion. Everything in the dream, according to what Lee saw, was old, and the chairs were made of plastic. Chairs in a dream will many times speak of a position of rest, and also it speaks of authority. Dear ones, there is no rest for the soul when one believes in a lie. Everything is plastic. It is not real. Air is deadly to any soul. The food was stale. It was not fit for human consumption. Stale, according to Webster's Dictionary, means old, decayed, rank, spoiled, smelly, stinky, and insipid. What Lee saw represented a circus. It was showy and religious. The deacon walked around protecting their turf, and I'm sure that if people said anything contrary to what was taking place, you would be deaped by the deacon and would be thrown out for speaking the truth. One of the scriptures that the Lord had given me in regards to this dream is found in 1 Peter 4 verse 1. Actually, it's 1 Peter 4 4, but I'm going to begin in verse 1 so we catch the thread of this word. Therefore, beginning in verse 1, since Christ suffered in his body. Arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do, living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and detestable idolatry. Verse 4, they think it's strange that you do not plunge with them into the same flood of dissipation, and they heap abuse on you. And as I said before, the deacon in the dream was guarding the turf. And when a religious spirit prevails in any church or group of people, will always put people into bondage and slavery, put them into bondage and slavery to assist them, rather than experience the freedom of the Holy Spirit who has promised to set them free. They think it's strange that you do not go along with their lies and perversions as they twist the truth and speak from their souls rather than in the authority and the integrity of God's word. They think it's strange that you do not clap and applaud their performance in circus-like atmosphere. They are superstitious of your lack of enthusiasm for their show. This itself will invoke trouble for you because you do not agree and you become the religious one in their opinion. They cannot see the guilt and the folly of their sinful pleasures and ways. They're not convicted or convinced of the deep sinfulness of the human soul. And they think it's strange that others would speak of their performance in their heresy or air as a shame or deception and expose it for what it is. They regard these sinful ways to be harmless because they are blind and cannot see because they are like those blind bats who use their natural senses to move around in the dark. Mixing truth with untruths is always dangerous and God hates it with the passion because he's jealous over his word and he's jealous over his people. so when leaders wax eloquent and showy and start to perform rather than deliver the truth in a simple straightforward upright and integral manner then there will be air and perversion at the helm of their words that set up deception to take place in the hearts of the hearers people are dazzled by the performance of these people and before long satan is leading the pack right into perdition dear church if you are not learning and growing in god's word and applying it in your daily life then you will be easily deceived by the stale bread and the little water which is representative of the presence of God's spirit. You will never know the counterfeit spirit that dazzles people to think and believe that it is the presence of God's precious Holy Spirit when it is in fact an evil pirating spirit who presents a lie rather than the truth. In the Song of Songs, chapter 2, verse 15, the maiden bride declares to her lover, who manifest his presence and his love to her, and she says, Oh, catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes. And this is in effect saying, catch, take, and cast out the liars who preach lies and suppress the heretics who show malice and attempt to destroy the truth that I have come to learn to love. the maiden bride had had a taste of the goodness and the love of her beloved and she did not want any mix or deception to steal what she had come into by way of experience with this new love that was beginning to emerge within her soul if you have ever tasted the goodness and the love of the one who loves you. You will not compromise the salvation of your souls. You do not serve a little God. God's love to you is personal and it is specific. It does not come to you in way of herd mentality. The Holy Spirit communicates the love of the Savior to you personally as you learn to obey him and hunger after him. You see, you have a personal effort and a part in this relationship. You must reciprocate his love. One of the specific purposes of precious Holy Spirit in being given to you is to magnify the lover of your soul, Jesus Christ. And the truth of this divine love from above is the one truth through which the world and all who are in it cannot come to know, except the Spirit of God reveal it to the hungry and thirsty soul who longs after him. Though many speak of the love of God, There are relatively few who have the crowning knowledge of it which indicates that it is genuine, it is deep, it's certain and abiding. Too many have their eyes fixed upon a little God and think since he allows us to live in a little sin, perhaps he will still love me the way I am with my little sin and will not prevent me entrance into the privileged place called the eternity of eternities where only the righteous are said to be accepted. There is a true story of a man who was on his way to church one day, and he was stopped by an unbeliever and asked, Sir, where are you going? To church, replied the believer. What are you going to do there, he asked. I'm going to worship my God, he said. Is your God a great or a little God? he said sir he is both well how can he be both great and be a little god the believer replied he is so great that the heavens cannot contain him and he's so little that he can dwell in my heart hallelujah hallelujah dear ones we dare not allow ourselves to rest in the mindset of a little god who allows little sins the church is so full of great deception today and acts like the world with her mix the house of god or the church is a place in the hearts of the people for those who hold the reality and conception of a great God. And this is the key for all Christians. God has become so great in our eyes, we must know that he controls everything. A little God only means a little life, a little morality, a little service to his people, a petty and miserable life altogether, which reeks of poverty in every way. But a conception and understanding of a great God means a great and rich and fruitful and abundant life in him mingled with great, joyful and loving service to others. so many in the church make their belief system that of going to church possibly twice a week and then that's as good as it gets and this is their duty to christ the music the word having fun the fellowship and a good time at church was the extent of their belief system many are too busy to put Jesus in daily eating and feeding on his word and also to have time of intimate devotions with him. Too busy. And since Jesus takes the back seat, guess who's driving your automobile? Guess who's at the helm of your Christian journey? You are in Satan sitting right beside you. In his example on the earth, Jesus never ignored his father and put him on the back burner dear ones Jesus Christ lifted up the father as the one true righteous sovereign God who is worthy of all of our praise and all glory for what he has done in sending us his Son When preachers have a real conception of our big God and Father, they will preach the truth in all integrity and will have no fear of man or what man will say. A great or big God will mean great morality. And we will not dress like the world, talk like the world, or reduce our great God into our image of a little God and say he allows little sins. I want to go back to what Apostle John said in 1 John 1.5, and I want to make a point here. 1 John 1.5. Remember I had stated that John was speaking to the little children here when he was saying this. This is the message which we heard from him and declare to you that God is light and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the dark, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he's faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Verse 10, if we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us. First John 2, 1, my little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. The little children represent the 30 fold in the parable of the sower in Matthew 13, verse 8. And the word says, some other seed fell on good soil where it produced a crop of a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirty times what was sown. And as I said, the little children that John is speaking to represent the thirtyfold. Out of the four castings that Jesus was teaching about in that parable, there was only one casting that proved to be fruitful. Yet within this one casting, there were three degrees of maturity in fruit production. The thirtyfold are likened to Apostle John's little children. These are those who have come to Christ, have accepted Christ as their Savior, and they have repented of their sins. They are on the way, but they are still little babies taking baby steps. They need to be fed and nourished the unadulterated truth of God's word. There are little babes who need the milk of the word. They are learning to come out of the world. And yet they are very vulnerable to the wiles of the evil one because they've not grown to know and understand or discern the truth and the deceptive ways of the enemy. and they've not grown to the point whereby they've learned to live and walk in the spirit and dwell in a place of union with the father and the son. The mature ones would never suggest or teach any that God will pass them by for something that they harbor or hold dear in the way of sin in their lives. No, the mature ones who live and walk in the spirit will instead say quite the contrary. They will say, if you presently have sin in your life, kill it, mortify it, say no to it. You've been given God's spirit to help you deal with any sin in your life. You see, they will not give license to keep on sinning. But they will say sin that you presently hold dear in your hearts or do not overcome will grow into a Goliath. then it will be impossible to be defeated because you did not slay it while you had the opportunity. You see, little thorns grow into big bushes, dear church. And one of the castings that was not fruitful or productive was in those whose hearts the good seed fell, but was likened in the analogy of falling amongst thorns. and these thorns then grew up into big bushes and choked out the good seed. These were the worldly-minded people. These were those who were distracted by worldly cares. They were preoccupied. These were more interested in their own worldly concerns and pleasures and entertainment. You see, many pastors and leaders occupy themselves in doing the work, but they have neglected their first love. They end up in the category of little children, and many do not grow beyond the milk of the word, but instead are guilty of leading many down the wide and broad path with themselves to destruction because of their heretical and air-filled teachings. they've never known the revelation of the deeper meaning of the truth called the meat of the word many congregations stay in a dwarfed state of maturity because of this for the lack of wisdom dear ones jesus christ longs for his people to mature into the place where they live and walk in his spirit. And it is here where you will truly communicate with him one-on-one, face-to-face. We've been given everything we need in the way of having new experiences and new encounters with our beautiful master and Lord every day. We've been given everything we need. to be sanctified means that you live a life apart from sin you learn to hate sin jesus said if you live in him and allow his words to live in you you will be able to ask him for whatever it is that you need and he will grant it to you do you desire most of all to be free of sin in every area of your life? Do you desire to know him more and more deeply every day? John Bunyan's dying words were in regard to sin. He said, sin is the great block and bar to our happiness. Sin and man for sin is the object of the wrath of God. How dreadful, he says, therefore must be his case, who continues to sin, for who can bear or grapple with the wrath of the living God. No sin against God can be little, because it is against the great God of heaven and earth, because if the sinner can find a little God, it may be easy to live then with little sins. Sin turns all God's grace into disregard or thoughtlessness, and it is the dare of his justice, the rape of his mercy, the jeer of his patience, the slight of his power, and the contempt of his love. Take heed of giving yourselves liberty of committing even one sin, he says, for that will lead you to another until by custom it shall become natural for you to do every time. To begin a sin is to lay a foundation for the continuance of it. This continuance is the mother of custom. Dear church, let me finish with this word in exhorting you to not be one who grows accustomed to excusing any known sin in your life. Do not make room for it. Do not excuse it. Do not pet it. Do not believe the lies that might come to you from anyone who says that when God shows up and you've got some little sin you are living with, that God will not send you to hell because he is bigger and more merciful than that. Don't be one that puts it off long enough that there may be no more room for God's mercy or the day of his grace is shut to you because you did not make effort and heed his command to put all sin away. Never believe that God will not cast people into hell for a little sin. God hates sin and there's no such thing as little sin. The Word warns us that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God. Care now to know him as a loving and kind Savior and Father. He takes no pleasure in hearing souls cry out in the roaring of hell's flames for that one little sin that many excuse themselves from. God is a loving and kind God when we obey him and we take his word serious and we live by it. He is compassionate to those who love and obey him. But for those who disobey and rebel against him, he is known as the Lion of Judah. The lamb turned lion at the time of judgment. And this is what will happen for those who disobey. The lamb will turn into the lion who brings judgment and gives to all that which they deserve. The time for showing pity and compassion will come to an end. He says, I will laugh at your calamity. I will mock when fear comes near you and destruction comes as a whirlwind and distress and anguish come upon you. Let your continual prayer be, O Lord, take from me the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines. Until you walk in the maturity of scripture and learn to walk in the spirit, continually seek to hate sin. A little thorn can cause great suffering, dear ones. Little foxes or sins spoil the vines where the fruit of God's Spirit manifests itself to a tender heart. Little sins burrow into the soul and make it so full of all that is hateful to your Savior. He will not hold or have fellowship or communion with those who harbor little sins because they are not okay with him. He says, if you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. Do not deprive yourselves of seeing your master face to face, dear ones. and if you will live with Christ your Savior, you must walk with him daily and have fellowship with him. Take heed that no little foxes spoil your friendship with him. He's too precious for that. Be like Samson and go hunting for them before they spoil everything, including your opportunity for eternity. And remember most of all, there is no such thing as little sin.
